WHO guidance on ‘early childhood masturbation and gender identities’ draws fire

Massive outrage has been ignited after the World Health Organization (WHO) issued “disturbing” guidance to schools recommending “sexuality education” for children under four years old that includes masturbation and the exploration of gender identities.

The policy was mentioned in connection to Wales and is aimed at all of Europe, according to the Daily Mail. Welsh leaders are angrily calling for the organization to withdraw the guidelines described as a “framework for policymakers, educational and health authorities and specialists.”

The WHO report, which is aimed at policymakers across Europe, asserts that children under four should “ask questions about sexuality” and “explore gender identities.”

It disgustingly recommends educating toddlers about “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body, early childhood masturbation.” The report also contends that young children should learn skills to “gain an awareness of gender identity.”

The abhorrent 68-page report goes on to outrageously advise that children between the ages of four and six years old should “talk about sexual matters” and “consolidate their gender identity.” Many parents see it as blatant grooming.

The report is titled, “Standards For Sexuality Education in Europe.” It was first published in 2010 and leftists downplayed it. Groups that are extremely concerned over the sexualization of very young children want it banned and don’t want it influencing official sex education policy.

Welsh ministers introduced last year a mandatory sexual education syllabus to schools in Wales. The government, however, is aggressively denying that it endorses the WHO guidance and is attempting to distance itself from the policy.

Laura Anne Jones, who is the Tory shadow minister for education in Wales, demanded that the WHO “rescind the advice immediately.”

Jones also called for the Welsh government to “distance themselves” from the “frankly disturbing” WHO guidelines as anger explodes among parents in the United Kingdom country.

“We must stop this pushing of harmful gender ideology into sex education in Wales and the UK, with immediate effect,” she told the Telegraph in an interview.

Tanya Carter, who is a spokeswoman for the campaign group Safe Schools Alliance, is demanding an “urgent inquiry” into whether there is a link between “RSE curriculum in this country” and sexual education guidance issued by United Nations organizations such as the WHO and UNESCO.

“We find it extremely concerning that the UN and WHO are promoting an approach that is experimental, unscientific, and appears to be aligned to the work of unethical individuals and organizations, including those promoting the acceptance of pedophilia,” the Safe Schools Alliance warned concerning sexuality education.

“We call upon them to revise their standards to align with a safeguarding-first approach that protects children while allowing them to develop a healthy and age-appropriate understanding of sex,” the Safe Schools Alliance added.

“Our guidelines reflect established psychological facts based on decades of research,” a WHO spokesman declared making it clear the organization stands by its guidelines.

The report advises that children take part in sex education from birth.

“From birth, babies learn the value and pleasure of bodily contact, warmth, and intimacy. Soon after that, they learn what is ‘clean’ and what is ‘dirty’ In other words, they are engaging in sexuality education,” it claims.

“The government does not recognize this WHO guidance and we don’t agree with its recommendations. We have not distributed or promoted it to schools,” government officials quickly stated. “We offer our own guidance to help schools to teach children and young people about relationships and health.”

Despite that claim, the WHO guidance was cited in a 2017 report commissioned by Welsh ministers titled “Informing the Future of the Sex and Relationships Curriculum in Wales,” according to the Telegraph.
