‘You cannot bully me’: Bob Marley’s granddaughter stands up to haters over ‘White Lives Matter’ top

The granddaughter of legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley is punching back at critics who have hurled abuse her way for wearing Kanye West’s controversial “White Lives Matter” shirt at Ye’s Paris Fashion Week runway show.

Selah Marley, the 23-year-old daughter of rapper and actress Lauryn Hill, didn’t back down when the woke mob came for her. Instead, she took to Instagram and accused her accusers of being “stuck in a hive mind mentality.”

“The past 24 hours has allowed me to realize that most of yall are stuck in a hive mentality. You do what the group tells you to do and think what the group tells you to think,” she boldly stated. “Witnessing someone break free from ‘the agenda’ sends you all into such a panic that you will do whatever it takes to force them back into the box that you feel they should exist in.”

“All moral & empathy is eliminated due to the fact that you feel justified by your emotions,” she continued. “The victim becomes the victimizer.”

But Marley made it clear, she’s nobody’s victim.

“You cannot bully me, manipulate me, or coax me into silence. Nor will you bully me into being who I don’t want to be. I don’t care how many tweets you make, DMs you send, or articles you write,” she said. “Throughout all the chaos, I have yet to speak about my experience. If you know me, you know that nothing I do is without deep thought and intention. Wait til you hear what I have to say.”

As BizPac Review reported, the left lost their minds after Ye and conservative commentator Candace Owens showed up at Fashion Week sporting “White Lives Matter” t-shirts.

Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill went so far as to call the rapper’s shirt “disgusting.”

“Kanye West decision to wear a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt is disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible,” he fumed. “Some of y’all will rush to defend him. You should ask yourselves why…”

The attacks on Marley were ruthless.

“Selah Marley need to shut her lil a** up,” one user stated on Twitter. “Your father left your mom for a white woman I guess that’s why you’re all white lives matter like Kanye? Triggered and pandering? Bye child.”

Undaunted, Marley reached out to Kanye and shared the text message on Instagram.

“You may be sleeping, but I think that what we did has obviously created a lot of conversation & I would like us to continue that conversation & provide the necessary depth & clarity that we are both extremely capable of,” she wrote. “I love taking risks & embracing freedom, but in this case, I think we can continue to discuss the depth behind our decisions to show the purity of our intentions & provide healing to our community.”

Still, Marley’s calls for a rational, open conversation are proving too much for the left, who are pointing to West’s lack of an immediate response as proof that the young Selah has been used.

“That message is gonna be stuck on read,” tweeted one skeptical user. “She has served her purpose lol.”
