Accused high school football-game shooter walks free just 48 hours after arrest

A Minnesota teen who allegedly opened fire at a high school football game was released from jail a mere two days after he was arrested.

Adam Abdihakeem Adam, an 18-year-old who was accused of the shooting incident that took place outside of Eden Prairie High School’s Oct. 2 homecoming game, was released from Hennepin County jail on Saturday evening after posting bond, according to jail records reviewed by media outlets.

The gunfire erupted after police broke up a fight on the west side of Aerie Stadium and removed several people from the stadium grounds.

“Shortly afterward, officers responded to a report of shooting in the high school parking lot,” the Eden Prairie Police Department said in a statement.

The two teenage victims were Somali males who are “both known to law enforcement,” police said. The shooting prompted the evacuation of the stadium, spoiling the fun for everyone and making national headlines.

Adam was arrested last Thursday and briefly jailed on charges of two counts of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and one count of second-degree riot.

The lightning-fast release is drawing criticism, including from the White House’s Rapid Response 47 account, which slammed the “radical left judge” who put the young thug right back on the streets.

“Adam Abdihakeem Adam was arrested for shooting up a Minnesota suburban high school football game. Police believe the shooting to be connected to rival Somali gangs,” the account said in a Sunday post to X. “A Radical Left judge immediately granted him a no-condition bail.”

“Jail records list a $100,000 bail or bond option without conditions and show Adam was released at 7:04 p.m. Oct. 10. He faces two felony counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday afternoon,” Fox News Digital reported.

Authorities tracked the accused shooter – who allegedly was driving his brother’s car – using cellphone data, “before, during and after the shooting,” according to the charges.

“After the shooting, Adam abandoned his phone and changed his phone number,” FOX 9 Minneapolis reported. “Officers then executed a search warrant at Adam’s home in St. Louis Park and found clothes that matched what the shooter was wearing in the surveillance video.”

The homecoming game shooting incident comes amid concerns about rising gang violence in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Somali community with young men mimicking tribal warlords in the diaspora’s East African homeland, one of the planet’s most squalid hellholes.

“Our law enforcement here are calling it out as the product of Somali gang violence, and we’ve got to identify it, and we have to find a way to deal with it,” Republican Senate candidate Michele Tafoya told Fox News Digital.

Even though the gang activity represents a growing threat to public safety, the area’s most prominent Somali hasn’t used her influential voice to call it out.

“Where is Ilhan Omar in all of this?” John Nagel, a former Minnesota state trooper, asked during an interview with Fox News Digital. “I would think that as a congressman that represents this particular area that she’d be at these meetings or she’d have a statement or she’d be sitting down and saying, ‘Hey, how can we help this? How could we stop this?’ And I don’t see her.”
