Actor, BLM activist join public brag-fest about defiantly masking up … except when they’re not

Hypocrisy is as much a trademark of the left as fraud has proven to be a trademark of Black Lives Matter, according to a rash of recent stories about millions of dollars intended to help black Americans being diverted to tony real estate purchases for those leading the movement early on.

On the issue of masks, a BLM enthusiast took to Twitter to let it be known in a rather militant manner that he will continue to fight the man by… keeping his mask on even though he doesn’t have to.

Responding to the recent ruling out of Florida that struck down President Biden’s mask mandate for airline travelers, “Derrick” tweeted: “Arizona bound! And yes, I will continue to mask up. And my shirt is a message for anyone that has an issue with it. 😎”

So committed to the cause of racial strife, Derrick had Black Lives Matter tattooed on his forearm in the Wakandan alphabet —  Wakanda being a fictional country in East Africa that is home to the superhero Black Panther.

Equally committed to the Branch Covidian cause, our hero even wears a mask when sitting in the terminal and drinking coffee:

…except when he isn’t.

The later tweet being just 10 days earlier, or 5 days before the mask mandate was overturned.

Somewhat sadly for those who look back fondly upon “The Andy Griffith Show,” Ron Howard, who played Andy’s son “Opie” in the iconic sitcom, was in simpatico with Derrick.

Howard took to Twitter following the ruling to defiantly declare that he, too, will continue to mask up. “For myself, for others,” he smugly tweeted.

Yet, “others” were not as much of a concern the very same day Derrick was enjoying his Starbucks java:
