According to notorious left-wing “reporter” April Ryan of the Grio, President Joe Biden is practically one of the greatest presidents of all time.
Speaking this Wednesday on MSNBC, the leftist “reporter” and verified dingbat went so far as to assert that Biden, considered by many to be the worst president in U.S. history, is the “standard-bearer for what the Founding Fathers put in place.”
Ryan made the dubious remarks while defending Biden for vetoing the bipartisan Judges Act, which would have allowed the next president — which would be President-elect Donald Trump — to add 66 new judges to the federal courts.

“It’s simple — this president, Joe Biden, didn’t want to give President-elect Donald Trump a chance to add more conservatism into our courts, bottom line,” she said. “I mean, you have so many people talking about how everything is weighed down right now. The White House on January 20th at noon will be Republican, the House, the Senate, what? Republican! And the Supreme Court leans Republican. So this president wanted to ensure checks and balances.”
“He is the standard bearer for what the Founding Fathers put in place. He wants to make sure everything goes well. And think about this, even though it wasn’t a federal judgeship, think about what happened with Merrick Garland. Think about the fact that Merrick Garland never got a chance to even have interviews with some senators because they rebuffed, they did not want to have a Democrat on the U.S. Supreme Court. In some ways this is that as well, this is trying to hold the line, to make sure once again that fairness and equal play and checks and balances are in place,” she added.
Critics were aghast at her comparison for many valid reasons.

These people have to be lying or don’t know what they are talking about, I.E.,really stupid. What kind of America do they think was founded?

This woman is woefully under-educated regarding the Founding Fathers.
What a sad joke.
She should try reading at least one book.

Dear clueless: Checks & balances has to do with the executive, legislative & judicial branches of the federal government, not with one party gaining control because voters agree they should be in control. Neither Ryan nor Biden have any grasp of what the Founders stood for.

The truth is that Biden is no friend to the notion of checks and balances. Take for example his refusal to abide by the wishes of the Supreme Court.
Despite the high court striking down his attempts to forgive student loan debt, he’s persisted in the matter through supposed loopholes. He’s even bragged about getting one over on the high court.
“Early in my term, I announced a major plan to provide millions of working families with debt relief for their college student debt,” he said in February while speaking at the Julian Dixon Library in Culver City, California, as reported at the time by Fox News.
“Tens of millions of people in debt were literally about to be canceled in debts. But my MAGA Republican friends in the Congress, elected officials and special interests stepped in and sued us. And the Supreme Court blocked it. But that didn’t stop me,” he added.
There’s a reason — in fact, there are many — that Biden is considered to be the worst president in recent U.S. history.
“[W]hen 1006 registered voters were asked to rank the last nine presidents in order, from best to worst, Biden came at the very bottom of the table, making him the worst in 47 years,” the Daily Mail reported earlier this month, citing a poll from J.L. Partners.
As for the president’s decision to veto the Judges Act, it’s drawn criticism even from the Federal Bar Association:
Monday evening, President Biden vetoed the JUDGES Act. The communities affected and their current judges deserved this bipartisan solution to the caseload crisis. The FBA urges continued work on this issue when the new Congress convenes in January. pic.twitter.com/KzqozYwlsI
