Arrogant Biden says nothing will change, doubles down on bad policies despite midterm spanking

With the fate of the Senate and the House of Representatives still up in the air, and despite exit polls that show 73% of American voters are dissatisfied or angry about the state of our nation, President Joe Biden smugly stated that he has no intention of changing the disastrous course on which his policies have put the country.

At a Wednesday press conference, Biden took a victory shuffle, delivering remarks that some are calling “delusional.”

“You mentioned that Americans are frustrated,” the reporter began. “In fact, 75% of voters say the country is heading in the wrong direction, despite the results of last night. What in the next two years do you intend to do differently to change people’s opinion of the direction of the country, particularly as you contemplate a run for President in 2024?”

“Nothing,” Biden replied. “Because they’re just finding out what we’re doing.”

“The more they know about what we’re doing, the more support there is,” the president reasoned. “Do you know anybody who wants us to get rid of the change we made on prescription drug prices and raise prices again? Do you know anybody who wants us to walk away from building those roads and bridges and the internet and so on?”

“I don’t know anybody — I think — The problem is,” he continued, “the major piece of legislation we passed — and some of it bipartisan — takes time to be recognized.”

And while they patiently wait to see the benefits of the more than $700 billion dollar Inflation Reduction Act, Americans can, apparently, crack open a can of Chef Boyardee, assuming they aren’t mugged on the way to the store to get it and providing they can afford the gas to heat it up.

“Totally disconnected,” tweeted Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.). “Arrogance at its finest.”

According to foreign policy analyst Nile Gardiner, Biden is “tone deaf.”

“Joe Biden delivering an arrogant and delusional press conference from the White House,” he tweeted. “No humility from a president whose party is on course to lose control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate too. This man is completely tone deaf.”

And lawyer and author David Limbaugh says Biden’s attitude could help Republicans, as the Democrats didn’t exactly perform brilliantly in the elections.

“Further rationalizing, the Dems’ relatively good, not strong, showing might lead Biden to be even more arrogant and defiant, and maybe that causes him to be even more unpopular,” he wrote. “Also, if he had been on the ballot last night we might have won everything.”

His cocky demeanor even persisted when asked if he was concerned about a Republican-controlled House investigating his shady son, Hunter.

“What’s your message to Republicans who are considering investigating your family and, particularly, your son, Hunter’s business dealings?” a reporter asked.

“‘Lots of luck in your senior years,’ my coach used to say,” he retorted. “Look, um, I think the American public wants us to move on and get things done for them.”

“It’s almost comedy,” he stated. “But, look, I can’t control what they’re going to do. All I can do is continue to try to make life better for the American people.”

“Oh yeah, this is all hilarious and my life has gotten so much easier the past few years,” one Twitter user replied.

Overall, many found the president’s tone “stunning.”

“Biden’s arrogance is stunning; 75% of people in recent poll say the nation is on the wrong course, and he says we are changing ‘nothing,'” another user tweeted. “He is a sad case.”

But according to one Twitter user, it’s simply par for the course with Biden.

“‘Nothing’ sounds about right that elite & arrogant mindset,” the user tweeted. “I said biden’s biggest political enemy is his mouth. biden gonna biden.”
