Within weeks of a “highly questionable text” from Hunter Biden to a business associate at China’s CEFC, once a Fortune Global 500 oil giant, about closing a $10 million per year deal, Joe Biden, as a private citizen, paid $2.75 million in cash for his now infamous Rehoboth Beach mansion.
On July 30, 2017, Hunter wrote CEFC’s Runlong “Raymond” Zhao — or “Z” to Hunter — on WhatsApp, claiming, “‘I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” according to DailyMail.com.
“Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand,” Hunter stated. “And now means tonight.”
Hunter then took a “wise guy” tone with Zhao.
“And Z,” he warned, “if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang or the chairman I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”
He then went back to the “nice guy” approach.
“Ok my friend – I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father,” he stressed. “I sure hope whatever it is you are doing is very, very, very important.”

While DailyMail.com admits there is “no proof that Joe Biden actually was sitting with his son,” it reports, “metadata from photos obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter’s infamous abandoned laptop show he was at his father’s main house, his Wilmington mansion, the day the text was sent.”
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said he has “questions.”
“The fact that Joe Biden purchased a luxurious beach house around the same time his family was receiving millions from a CCP-linked company raises many questions that need to be answered,” he told DailyMail.com. “The House Oversight Committee will continue to follow the money trail to determine the extent of President Biden’s involvement in his family’s influence-peddling schemes and its impact on our national security.”
Senators Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) spent years digging into Hunter’s hinky foreign business deals.
“The corruption of the Biden crime family has been obvious for years,” Johnson said in a statement to DailyMail.com. “This is just another piece of evidence that will probably be ignored once again by most of the mainstream media. It also underscores the imperative of obtaining all the bank records from all the Bidens who have benefited from Joe and Hunter’s grifts.”
According to DailyMail.com, “Property records show Joe’s six-bedroom second property was purchased on June 8, 2017 for $2,744,001 – just seven weeks before his son’s shakedown messages.
“No mortgage was registered with the sale, indicating Joe paid all cash for his second home.”
Citing conflicting past tax records, book deals, and Office of Government Ethics (OGE) filings, the outlet notes, “even if the money for the home came from the $11 million he and Jill earned that year according to their tax filings, there are still large discrepancies in the President’s financial disclosures that remain unexplained.”
On X, outspoken conservative radio host Dana Loesch accused President Biden of using “blood money” to buy his luxurious vacation home.
“Biden bought his Barbie beach mansion with CCP blood money,” she stated. “The Bidens have champagne tastes on a beer budget and long for the finer things in life. They don’t care how they get it, either — just not through actual hard, honest work.”
“They’re old money cosplayers,” Loesch continued. “They contribute nothing. They didn’t even raise up respectable enough offspring to cement a family legacy. Promiscuous druggies who leverage daddy’s connections to keep up appearances. An absolutely embarrassing first family.”
“All the kids have baggage, the uncle, other family members,” she added. “It seems endemic to Joe’s entire family, a tidier version of the ‘Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.'”
