Bill Gates argues he’s a victim of ‘misinformation’, like those who wouldn’t get vaccinated

Billionaire Bill Gates found a sympathetic ear while promoting his new show as he lamented being “a subject of misinformation.”

A long way from working in a garage, the Microsoft co-founder, entrepreneur, and largest private landowner in the United States has been known to regularly pontificate on supposed existential threats frequently the topic of pearl-clutching.

With subjects like free speech and climate change a focus of his Netflix show, “The Future With Bill Gates,” the globalist-aligned corporate figure, who like many among the wealthy and powerful, had previously been linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, griped over supposedly misleading stories about himself.

“I’m very lucky I get to work on AI. I get to work on global health,” Gates said during an appearance on NBC’s “Today” to promote his show. “Misinformation is the one where, you know, I have been a subject of misinformation. I talked to Lady Gaga who’s had it maybe even worse.”

On the topic of regulating artificial intelligence, the billionaire turned to regulating the public as well when he expressed, “You know, social media, we’re still arguing about we shouldn’t have let young kids use it as much and how do you balance free speech versus crazy stuff that, you know, got people not to take vaccines for example.”

In another recent interview promoting the show, Gates had said, “The misinformation stuff has surprised me, and the difficulty in trusting government and coming together to help government do its job.”

“Those are two trends that I’d say to the younger generation, you’d better really pay attention to these because it’s pretty important to reverse those,” he added.

The noted philanthropist who, in the minds of many, was associated with efforts at decreasing the global population and integrating bugs into the diet of people, had been among those linked to Epstein.

Near the end of 2023, a previously unpublished photo made the rounds featuring Gates and a Polish model said to have been taken in 2014, six years after the 2008 conviction of Epstein. At the time of the photo’s release, the Wall Street Journal had reported, “In March 2014, Jeffrey Epstein took his private jet to Seattle to visit Bill Gates at his office. Epstein brought along a Polish model he had met a few months earlier. Dressed in a long gray coat, she posed for a photo with the Microsoft co-founder. Epstein took the picture.”

Having expressed his regret over meeting with Epstein, a spokesperson for the billionaire added at the time of the photo’s publication, “Epstein tried, unsuccessfully, to connect himself to Mr. Gates by any means possible, including spontaneously bringing in people for photos with Bill, whom Bill did not know or interact with further.”

In addition to pushing for a greater tax burden for the wealthy while making no effort to voluntarily contribute more of his own fortune to the government, the jet-setting Gates also peddled climate concerns when asked if having grandchildren had accelerated a sense of urgency on the matter.

“Oh, definitely,” he told the “Today” co-hosts. “My first grandchild is actually here in New York City and couldn’t be cuter. She’s about one or so now.”

“And we’re not making enough progress, you know, and the damage kind of accumulates over time,” he went on. “So the need to innovate — I met a lot of young activists who are really harsh about, you know, we’re not doing enough. I found that, you know, inspiring and motivating.”

His stated positions only further fueled social media users he’d like to see regulated as they ripped into the billionaire.
