Calif teen slams school for ‘putting women in jeopardy’ after video of trans student beating girls sweeps internet

An 18-year-old California high school student accused the Riverside Unified School District board of “putting women in jeopardy” after video of a transgender student who identifies as female assaulting two biological girls went viral.

In the video, the trans student can be seen towering menacingly over an angry female student at Martin Luther King High School after an apparent incident in the locker room.

“He’s [in the] girls’ locker room, using girls’ restrooms,” MLK student Aiden Vermeir told Fox 11. “He spit on my friends that are girls, females. He shows his genitals in the locker room.”

Student Megan Simpkins demanded the school board explain why female students “don’t ever get a say” in the woke policies that directly affect them.

“Why are we affirming the mental confusion of this boy and putting the safety of women in jeopardy by allowing mentally confused men to use the women’s spaces?” she asked as the crowd behind her erupted with applause.

“Of course, any male who claims he is a woman will accept it,” she continued. “But what about the women? What about the true girls like myself who are female down to our DNA? Why don’t we ever get a say in whether or not we are comfortable with this?”

“The truth is, we aren’t,” she stated. “The majority of us aren’t, and yet nothing has been done to protect the safety of these women.”

“It all starts with you,” Simpkins told the board. “You are in charge of the safety of us women and the kids of our parents. Please do something about it.”

More than one video of the violent trans student has made the social media rounds.

“These types of incidences are occurring across America,” tweeted another user. “When will enough be enough?”

A statement released last month by the Riverside Unified School District confirms that the trans student no longer attends King High, Fox 11 reported:

A video depicting an altercation involving students at Martin Luther King High School has been widely circulated on social media this week. This matter has had the full attention of Riverside Unified School District administration and is being addressed expeditiously.

Since the incident occurred, District staff has been working to ensure the safety and rights of all students are considered and promptly responded to. We are able to verify that the student involved will no longer be attending King High School.

We encourage those who have taken interest in this story to respect the confidential nature of our specific discussions with those involved and the efforts we will continue to make to ensure we provide an appropriate learning environment for each student as required by law.

Back on Twitter, Simpkins was praised for speaking out.
