CNN shocks audience, points out how Kamala tells voters opposite messages based on their state

Vice President Kamala Harris’ “starkly different” messages pandering to disparate sides on an issue that hit close to home was readily called out by CNN.

“…they actually cut part of it out.”

For over a year since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel, Democratic Party infighting found factions on the left feuding over support of the Jewish state or sympathizing with radical Islamists. Going into the final weekend of the 2024 election, a “KFile Investigation” on CNN’s “Outfront” exposed how the vice president was still trying to have it both ways with ads targeting different communities in two critical battleground states.

Joined by Andrew Kaczynski, host Erin Burnett first shared an ad from the Great Lakes State where Harris spoke to constituents like those who’d elected Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib, “What has happened in Gaza over the past nine months is devastating. We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to the suffering. And I will not be silent.”

“Well, it’s a very different story for an ad in Pennsylvania targeting Jewish voters,” said Burnett as a clip of the vice president’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention was aired.

“Let me be clear: I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself, and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself. Because the people of Israel must never again face the horror that a terrorist organization called Hamas caused on October 7th,” said Harris.

Prompting Kaczynski to touch on the “starkly different” ads, he explained, “Yeah, that’s right. And look, this really illustrates that sort of fine line that the Harris campaign is trying to walk here in the closing weeks, closing days of this campaign on the issue of Israel.”

“Here you have two entirely different constituencies, and they are getting two entirely different messages there. Oftentimes, these constituencies have very opposing views on this,” he said.

To his point, Tlaib, who’d previously spoken on behalf of the Uncommitted National Movement putting their interest in the Middle East above the outcome of the presidential election, had failed to endorse Harris in the critical swing state, instead telling voters “to make sure that the nonpartisan part of the ballot gets filled in.”

Kaczynski elaborated on the differences, “If you are a Jewish person in Pennsylvania, you saw that ad that you’re getting. You are getting that ad that talks about how strong — strong she is in Israel. If you’re a Muslim voter in Michigan, you are getting that ad on Facebook that’s talking about…how she won’t be silent on the issue of Gaza. Now, what’s really interesting here is that ad that we just played, the one that’s going to Jewish voters in Pennsylvania…they actually cut part of it out.”

The parts of Harris’ DNC speech that were cut featured her telling the cheering audience, “What has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is devastating. So many innocent lives were lost. Desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety, over and over again. The scale of suffering is heartbreaking. President Biden and I are working to end this war such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self-determination.”

Reactions to the clip were more surprised at the possibility of CNN “becoming more fair” in covering politics, as they had previously called out her support for taxpayer funded genital mutilation for detained illegal aliens, than they were to Harris pandering for votes.
