CNN anchor Dana Bash, a chief propagandist at the network, did her part to dissuade from the belief that American citizens deserve a country that puts their interest first, a country that respects their needs and desires before welcoming the world to our doorstep — and generous welfare programs.
Bash focused on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement recruitment efforts, reporting without a trace of shame about the “coded” language used by the Trump administration, likening it to “Neo-Nazi” and “White Nationalist” rhetoric — because enforcing immigration laws is racist and fascist?
The left understands that it may be game over at the ballot box if President Donald Trump succeeds in deporting even a fraction of the 10-15 million illegal aliens allowed in under the Biden administration, and Bash was only too happy to smear the effort.
“As the Trump administration ramps up its immigration crackdown, ICE is looking to expand its ranks, and their recruitment push on social media is echoing some rhetoric that has been linked to White Nationalist groups,” Bash claimed.
ICE’s recruitment push on social media is echoing rhetoric that’s been linked to White nationalist groups. CNN’s Zach Wolf tells the Inside Politics panel, “this is not even that coded.” Read the full story here: https://t.co/TkwVlGH0wc pic.twitter.com/hIER72aPOU

“Like this ad from DHS that says, quote, ‘America has been invaded by criminals and predators. We need you to get them out.’ Or this message: ‘Will have our home again,’ adding, quote, ‘Join ICE,'” she added, before assigning motive. These ads appear to be a nod to the far-right replacement theory, which is the belief that White people are being replaced by immigrants.”
(What Bash is referring to is a very real effort on the left to manipulate immigration laws to relegate White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPs) — and their Western values — to a minority status in America. The progress of this lofty goal is proudly documented and shared by believers.)
“Now, there’s also this DHS ad that says, ‘The stakes have never been higher and the goal has never been more clear, re-immigration now.’ That term has roots in neo-Nazi ideology, refers to what critics say is a form of ethnic cleansing,” Bash said. “And now the Trump administration? They’re using it. The State Department is even creating an ‘Office of Re-immigration.'”
“As my colleague Zach Wolf details in a new piece that you really need to read on CNN.com. It’s coded language and it is part of a pretty disgusting trend across the Trump administration…. Um… Wow!”
“Wow” is right, in that CNN would allow such irresponsible rhetoric to be spewed as if fact. But President Trump is not Hitler and ICE is not the Gestapo. It seems clear Bash and her network oppose the removal of illegal immigrants, despite many having a criminal background and preying on American citizens.
Trust in the media is at an all-time low and Bash can take credit for helping it get there. It’s a wonder CNN has any viewers at all, and a rational argument can be made that those still tuning in are becoming radicalized. Just look at all the death threats being directed at ICE agents as they go about their business of enforcing immigration laws.
