Dem concerns over Biden age met with contempt from The View co-host: ‘Shut the hell up and get with the program!’

CNN’s town hall with former President Donald Trump sent the hens on “The View” clucking, but to co-host Ana Navarro, it was a wake-up call for Democrats who “fret” over Joe Biden’s age heading into the 2024 election.

“Anybody who had any illusion, who harbored any illusion that the Republican base was going to turn away from [Donald Trump] because he is twice impeached, because he’s indicted, because he was found liable 24-hours before of sexual abuse and defamation, because of all the legal woes, because he led and supported an insurrection, because he lied bigly — Anybody who thought the Republican base was going to turn away from him saw this week that that is not going to happen,” Navarro ranted.

“So, I would tell people who are angry with CNN, channel that anger into the voting booth,” she stated.

President Biden’s age and cognitive ability are irrelevant to Navarro because Trump is “on the other side.”

Those Democrats who worry that the gaffe-prone, scandal-plagued Biden and his insufferable running mate might not be the best the nation has to offer need to “shut the hell up.”

“All the Democrats who fret and clutch their pearls, oh, ’cause Biden is too old and Kamala is too this or too that. You know what? Shut the hell up and get with the program!” Navarro demanded. “Because that’s what’s on the other side.”

“That is what is on the other side and it was a reminder,” she continued. “I had forgotten. I’m not on Truth Social. I don’t watch Fox. I haven’t watched a rally. This is a reminder — he hasn’t changed at all. He’s going to be worse if he gets back in.”

Navarro is going to have to hope a whole lot of Americans keep silent.

As BizPac Review reported, a recent Washington Post-ABC News survey revealed that just 32% of voters believe Biden has the “mental sharpness” to effectively serve as president. That’s an eight-point drop from February when 40% thought his mental acuity was up to the task.

In contrast, 54% of respondents said Trump was sharp enough to lead the nation.

Since the Wednesday night town hall, CNN has been raked over the coals for daring to give the GOP’s leading candidate for the White House a platform from which to speak.

When the event was initially announced, co-host Joy Behar supported CNN’s decision, but after Trump shredded moderator Kaitlan Collins, she walked her opinion back.

“I was wrong,” Behar said. “[Co-host Sunny Hostin] said they shouldn’t show him, and I said they should, because I’m a very big defender of the First Amendment, and I believe that everybody should show who they really are and let’s vote accordingly.”

“But what I didn’t know, was that the audience would be filled with his cult,” she continued. “I would like to know if CNN was passing out Kool-Aid before the event started.”

“Why would CNN put only Republicans and people who love him in the audience?” Behar asked. “You know, if I do a comedy show and everybody loves me, I’m going to be funnier. That’s how it works. But if you have people who don’t particularly don’t think you’re that funny, you have to work harder.”

“Well, that’s what I saw last night,” she stated. “I saw a bad stand-up comedian with a bunch of people in his cult who love him. And that is not American, as far as I’m concerned. That is not American.”
