Texas Senate nominee James Talarico has been hitting his Republican opponent Ken Paxton with claims of corruption, yet an undercover video suggests the Democrat may be living in a glass house.
The video was published by Townhall and features an organizing manager with the Democrat-aligned political action committee Texas Majority PAC talking about a program that “essentially” serves as “a roundabout way of paying people for their votes.”
“We are paying people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to, like, learn why voting is important and why the Republicans are causing all these bad things,” a man identified as Sky McAdams said in the clip. “So, it’s like a roundabout way of paying people for their votes, essentially.”

McAdams was speaking about what he called the “Paid Relational Program,” noting that it’s illegal to pay someone to vote for a specific candidate while suggesting the “creative” program was a workaround.
“You can’t be like, here’s $25, go vote for me. You can say attend a one-hour class, and you can receive $25,” he explained, before adding, “If I was a Republican, I would be p*ssed. I would be like, that’s shady as f*ck.”
The story serves as yet another chapter in the ongoing saga about how the Democratic Party allegedly functions as little more than a criminal organization.
Republicans are also accusing Talarico of “blatant corruption” over consulting work he performed for a progressive firm while serving on the Texas House’s influential Public Education Committee, according to Fox News. Talarico’s campaign has called the alleged “textbook pay-to-play scheme” a “lie.”
