In their zeal to smear President Donald J. Trump by demanding the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Democrats have inadvertently exposed some of their own, and it keeps getting worse for former Clinton Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.
In the latest hit to the smoldering reputation of the onetime Harvard University President, the elite Ivy League school’s newspaper reported that Summers and his wife flew to the deceased pedophile’s private island for their honeymoon in 2005, and traveled on board the notorious “Lolita Express” while accompanied by Epstein’s sex-trafficking cohort Ghislaine Maxwell.
According to the Harvard Crimson, Summers and Elisa F. New followed up their Dec. 11 wedding in Cambridge, Mass., with a trip to the Caribbean, boarding Epstein’s plane in nearby Bedford for the fateful trip. The outlet cited publicly available flight logs showing that other passengers included Maxwell and Larry Visoski, the depraved sex pervert’s longtime pilot.

During their honeymoon in paradise, the newlyweds also stopped over at Little Saint James, Epstein’s steamy private island, a destination of a long list of politicians, celebrities and other people of influence who were guests of Epstein.
The island has long been alleged to have been the site of wild sexual escapades and has been dubbed “Pedo Island” and “Orgy Island” by the locals, becoming an integral part of Epstein’s legend.
“The couple got married on Dec. 11 in Cambridge, celebrating a cozy reception in the Harvard Art Museum. Ten days later, on Dec. 21, they boarded Epstein’s plane in Bedford, Massachusetts, according to publicly available flight logs — bound for Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, the standard jumping-off point for reaching Epstein’s private island by helicopter,” the Harvard Crimson reported.
A spokesperson for the disgraced Democrat official confirmed to the outlet that the couple “spent part of their honeymoon on Epstein’s island during their 2005 trip, which has not been previously reported.”
“Mr. Summers and Ms. New spent their honeymoon in St. John and Jamaica in December 2005, which was long before Mr. Epstein was arrested for the first time,” said Steven Goldberg in a statement. “As part of that trip, they made a brief visit of less than a day to Mr. Epstein’s island.”
“Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, who ran Harvard, was with him every single night they lived together. They went to his island every single night. I never did,” Trump recently said. “I had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein.”
President Trump on Epstein:
“I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert… Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, who ran Harvard, was with him every single night, every single weekend. They lived together. They went to his island many times. I never… pic.twitter.com/CvRw9UstXm

The scandal has chased the former Clinton-Biden official from public life.
“I am deeply ashamed of my actions and recognize the pain they have caused. I take full responsibility for my misguided decision to continue communicating with Mr. Epstein. While continuing to fulfill my teaching obligations, I will be stepping back from public commitments as one part of my broader effort to rebuild trust and repair relationships with the people closest to me,” he said in a statement after he was hit by his own party’s friendly fire.
Summers is the first high-profile Democrat casualty of the Epstein files, which Trump signed off on releasing this week after an intense pressure campaign by Dem lawmakers and their GOP allies – he won’t be the last.
