U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin appeared on the Democratic propaganda outlet formerly known as MSNBC to claim that Capitol Police have granted her “24/7 security” after participating in a controversial video urging active-duty troops and intelligence agencies to disobey lawful orders from their commander-in-chief.
The Gang of Six seditionists were suggesting that President Donald J. Trump is issuing illegal orders, which some argue is textbook incitement to mutiny under 18 U.S.C. § 2384, and punishable by up to 20 years or death.
“We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now. Americans trust their military but that trust is at risk,” the Democratic lawmakers said in the video. “This administration is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens. Like us, you all swore an oath to protect and defend this Constitution…. Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders.”
Trump responded to the dangerous video by declaring that this was “seditious behavior at the highest level.” The president said the lawmakers should be held accountable while reminding them that the penalty could potentially be “punishment by death.”
All of which prompted Democrats to assume the role of victim and cry that Trump threatened to “murder” them, with the complicit media pouncing on the manufactured outrage.
“Over the years, I’ve had threats here and there. It was instantaneous. I mean, hundreds, if not at this point, thousands of calls, emails, texts, obviously online postings,” Slotkin said during an appearance on MSNOW.
“Capitol Police came to us and said, ‘We’re gonna put you on 24/7 security,'” she added. “We’ve got law enforcement out in front of my house. I mean, it changes things immediately. And leadership climate is set from the top. And if the president is saying you should be hanged, then we shouldn’t be surprised when folks on the ground are going to follow suit and say even worse.”
Slotkin, a former CIA analyst who now sits in the U.S. Senate, released the following video:
Earlier this morning, President Trump threatened me and a group of service and veteran Members of Congress with arrest, trial, and death by hanging.
Here’s my response: pic.twitter.com/jIZYrQTlP7

U.S. Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), a former Army Ranger who participated in the video urging servicemembers to disobey Trump’s orders, released his own video regurgitating party talking points, citing the Constitution while calling for “moral clarity.” Ironically, he likened the president’s response to “calls for political violence.”
“Don’t give up the ship,” Crow concluded with feigned indignation.

Their supposed outrage was in response to several Truth Social posts from Trump addressing the video.
“It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand — We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET,” the president wrote in one post.
“This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP???” Trump said in another post.
In a third post, he wrote: “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
Social media users were not fooled by Slotkin’s political theater, as seen here:
You should be charged and prosecuted for sedition.
You know it.

CIA officer who staged color revolutions for a living is angry that consequences exist for staging a color revolution.
Your tears are my applause.

The American people stand by the punishment for treason and sedition.
You tried subverting the military service members from disobeying the chain of command. You’re ex CIA. You knew what you’re doing. The law is the law. No one is above the law, not even Elissa Slutkin. pic.twitter.com/LrrApbqgcd

Trump didn’t threaten you, Slotkin.
He cited 18 USC 2384 because your video may have crossed the line the statute describes by suggesting troops should question or ignore lawful orders from their Commander in Chief.
If your words fall under that statute, then accountability…

No one was “threatened.” Trump pointed out that you publicly encouraged the military to refuse orders, which is illegal. Actions have consequences. That’s not a threat, it’s the law.

You publicly engaged in seditious behavior.
Don’t act surprised when there are consequences for your actions.
No one is above the law.
