Donny Deutsch visited MSNBC to spew his opinions on how the Democrats can gain some sort of advantage heading into the midterms, but shockingly his plan didn’t revolve around running on their successes.
Instead, he advised the left to “scare the bejeezus out of people,” because that worked so well with COVID.
He also recommended that Democrats rebrand Republicans as the “Republican Replacement Party” which is a reference to the “Great Replacement Theory” that they are blaming for inspiring the mentally ill Buffalo shooter to commit his heinous crimes.
“What the Democrats need to do, and it’s so obvious at this point, is brand them with it,” he said. “Basically, take this replacement theory and make it the ‘Republican Racist Replacement Theory.’ Make every Republican answer ‘do you believe in it or not?’ Brand every Republican- this is the party of the of the replacement theory.”
He then advocated for Democrats to essentially paint the entire Republican Party with the brush of “replacement theory” even if they don’t believe in it, which, by his own admission, is very few compared to the overall number of Republicans in the country. He also suggested doing the same thing with violence, perhaps believing that there are people out there dumb enough to go along with these ideas.

But Deutsch wasn’t done. Not by a long shot.
While seated on the panel of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” he admitted that the left can’t run on economic or political successes, and instead have to use fear tactics to get the populace to fall in line with their ideology. This, he says, is where his previous idea of painting the whole GOP as fringe lunatics comes in.
“We don’t have the economy on our side as Democrats. So you have to scare the bejesus out of people — & a way to scare them, to say, ‘You know this replacement theory, this is not just coming from some dark corner of the web, this is the Republican platform’,” he explained.

Social media was not impressed by his tactics:
The irony here is too great to even comprehend

Great strategy! We can’t win on substance, so let’s just try to scare people. 😂
