Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has lived in an elitist bubble for so long she’s dumbfounded over why Americans might miss the Trump pre-pandemic economy — which shows just how disingenuous the infamous campaign ad of her slamming a beer while cooking in the kitchen was.
Warren was asked in a recent interview why people believed the economy was good under former President Donald Trump and she served up a word salad with few calories.
“I don’t know. I can’t explain polling. I can’t explain how narratives come to be,” she replied. “I also can’t explain how sensitive are they — I’m gonna now sound like the professor I used to be — how sensitive are they to the exact questions that get asked because you do get real differences in this.”
“All I can do is do the look ahead, and a look ahead is going to draw this contrast,” Warren added.

The truth is, while inflation has slowed, prices are still high. Gas is still more than a dollar higher than when Trump was in office and people are paying much more in the grocery store today than they did in 2018. Housing costs have also increased significantly.
Meanwhile, Pocahontas Warren is busy pushing the Democratic company line about how wages are up and that the real problem in America is “price gouging by giant corporations.”
.@POTUS continues to fight for working families. We’ve had the strongest wage growth and economic recovery in the past 40 years. And we’re not done lowering costs and cracking down on junk fees and price gouging by giant corporations.

Suffice it to say, social media users were not picking up what Warren was laying down… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
I can’t explain why people enjoyed paying less for more.

All the politicians are mega millionaires. They are allowed to inside trade. They have someone that presses the elevator buttons for them. They have no idea what it is like to try to afford housing, food or medical care.

During Trump’s presidency, there were several factors that contributed to economic growth and positive indicators:
Tax Cuts and Jobs Act: Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law in December 2017, which lowered the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% and reduced individual…

Elizabeth Warren avoids speaking with average Americans, so she wouldn’t know that they think. She lives in a State where all she needs is a “D” next to her name and a pulse to get elected.

Simply because like a lot of long term Congress workers, they grow super rich from grifting and lose touch with reality and grass roots people. This includes the kidding red indians like this one!

She should be organizing card catalogs and checking out books for people, not be in the Senate.
