Twitter CEO Elon Musk humorously enticed former President Trump back to his social media platform Sunday, after having his initial invitation rejected, using hilarious memes taking aim at his declaration to run for the presidency in 2024.

Musk ran a poll on Twitter asking if Trump should be reinstated and he was voted back on the island. Although the former president promoted the poll on his social media platform Truth Social, he made it clear he’s staying right where he is and will not be hopping back on Twitter. That could change as America heads into the 2024 showdown for the presidency.
The “Chief Twit” was joined by many others who just could not resist the meme allure.
One off-color meme by Musk featured a painting of a pious monk or Jesus, who was labeled as “Donald Trump.” He was engaged in ardent prayer while a woman stands in front of him bent over with a Twitter logo on her behind. She is apparently seeking to seduce Trump into coming back to Twitter.
In another tweet that has since been deleted, Musk tweeted out a still from the television show “Family Guy,” where one of the characters appears to be tempted by a bottle of prescription pills that are labeled “his reinstated Twitter account.”

Others piled on the meme-fest imploring Trump to return to Twitter once again:

Musk also targeted CBS News after the network announced it was taking a hiatus from tweeting via its official account over “security concerns” stemming from Musk’s acquisition of the company. That didn’t last long and Musk mocked CBS mercilessly for it.

Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger stepped into the fray next.
He commented during an interview on Friday that Trump’s political career is basically finished and it’s time for the party to move on.

“I think that’s the past,” Schwarzenegger told FOX 11’s Elex Michaelson concerning Trump’s 2024 aspirations. “I think that we have too much into the future. And I think there are very talented people in this country and the Republican side that can run.”
Michaelson asked the “Terminator” who will win the GOP presidential nomination. Schwarzenegger said he hasn’t heard who is the likely favorite yet.
“I know as much as you do,” he quipped. “I can only guess.”
When asked who he favors in the presidential race, Schwarzenegger deflected and addressed the economy and climate change.
“I’m only excited about one thing – and this is to bring the economy back. To lower the inflation, to create an energy policy where we really know where our energy comes from in the future,” he remarked. “To go and be environmentally friendly and lower the greenhouse gases and emissions.”
