Failure theater resulted in an unwarranted and depressing curtain call from two outgoing members of Congress that evoked the feeling of a “kid’s birthday party where no one shows up.”
Despite all the histrionics and demagoguery that leftists had employed throughout the presidential election, President-elect Donald Trump’s victory proved resounding, leaving the Democratic Party under Vice President Kamala Harris appearing much like a rudderless ship drifting into 2025
While a leader for the party remains to be determined, what is known is that the toxic members within the caucus that had been excised through the primary process were readily ignored as they exited the stage of Capitol Hill, unable to warrant an audience of even the full coterie that made up the Squad.
As New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman and Missouri Rep. Cori Bush made their respective farewell addresses Thursday, only Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib were visibly present for much of the remarks.

At one point, Illinois Rep. Delia Ramirez showed up in support of the outgoing members, doing little to change the reality that some of the most radical Hamas sympathizers in Congress were not the type of people that remaining members wanted to be associated with.
There was an added layer of ribbing brought against Bowman who recently shared his regret for having pulled a fire alarm in what had been considered a futile effort to disrupt a vote in September 2023.
At the time, the congressman claimed he had done so believing that it would open a door, but, after giving an address to a nearly empty House floor, many suggested that Bowman would have more readily cleared the chamber had he just tried to talk to other legislators.
looks like someone pulled the fire alarm

Did he pull the fire alarm?

Bowman should receive a fire-alarm wall unit to take with him as a paper-weight in his future jobs as radical political organizer, some dei position, or whatever. He should have been arrested for that stunt.

Dang, nothing else could have made me feel sympathy for them.
But this feels like the kids birthday party where no-one shows up.

Of course, as the soon-to-be-former New York representative had blamed pro-Israel voters for his ousting, telling NY1, “The minute I called for a ceasefire, that was the last straw with many in the district,” he and Bush had been offered a lovely parting gift in closing with “Free Palestine” speeches.
Actor and director Michael Rapaport succeeded in inspiring an impromptu crowdfunding campaign for outgoing members of the Hamas Squad to have an in-person experience of what they were supporting, offering to “fly them to ISRAEL & have a SUV drop them off in RAMALLAH. 7 Days in Judea Samaria on Me.”
“I will add $150 a day per diem. You guys down?” he continued as others like BlazeTV host Dave Rubin tried to sweeten the pot for Bowman and Bush with a $20,000 offer, “if they were a sign that says JEW on their shirt while visiting…”
While Bowman bristled at the suggestion, calling Rapaport a “culture vulture” and a “clown of epic [proportions]” he had no apparent social media commentary on his lack of an audience in departing Congress.
