Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer fumes at judge who won’t dismiss lone male ‘holdout’

The legal team representing child killer Lindsay Clancy is furious over a reported lone holdout in finding their client not guilty of murdering her three children.

Defense attorney Kevin Reddington said the juror should be removed for refusing to follow instructions on reasonable doubt, “whether they like it or not,” but Judge Willian Sullivan disagreed.

As jurors returned to court Friday for a seventh day of deliberation, Reddington called on Sullivan to lean harder on the juror — who the defense let slip is a male.

“I would ask that you not give a soft inquiry. I would ask that you specifically direct their attention to proof beyond a reasonable doubt and re-instruct them forcefully,” Reddington said.

“What do you want me to do? Get a brass band?” the judge shot back.

Sullivan reportedly called each juror individually to sidebar Thursday afternoon and asked them if they could follow the law as it was given to them, and was satisfied with the responses. He read the instructions on reasonable doubt and sent them back for a short deliberation before dismissing them for the day.

Reddington told the judge that the male juror “looked you in the eye and lied” about being able to follow the law.

“I have never seen a situation like this where a foreperson on the jury is so courageous as to speak on behalf of 11 jurors,” Reddington added. “You have not one, but two notes that clearly indicate that this individual has acknowledged doubt but refuses to apply it to the verdict.”

Clancy admitted to strangling her three young children to death with exercise bands, claiming she was suffering severe postpartum psychosis and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

White liberal women have bizarrely rallied to the child killer’s cause, protesting for her acquittal.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
