Get the popcorn, Time magazine expected to make liberal heads explode

Time Magazine honoring anyone else but President-elect Donald Trump as its ‘Person of the Year’ would have been suicide.

The left-wing publication may have had a basket of contenders, including reportedly considering Vice President Kamala Harris. But in the end, the choice was obvious to anyone who was paying attention.

“Donald Trump is expected to be named Time magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’ — and to celebrate the unveiling of the cover, the president-elect will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, according to three people familiar with the plans granted anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge the plans,” Politico reported Wednesday.

NBC’s “The Today Show” announced some of the names being considered earlier this week and they included Trump, Harris, Kate Middleton, Elon Musk, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The magazine “does not comment on its annual choice for Person of the Year prior to publication,” a spokesperson said. “This year’s choice will be announced tomorrow morning, Dec. 12, on Time.com.”

Trump was previously named Time Person of the Year after he won the presidential election in 2016.

While Time has not disclosed its official pick, news of Trump being named spread on social media where the left had an expected meltdown.

But the negativity was run over by those celebrating the news while giving a reality check to the critics.
