The midterm elections may have been a catastrophe for Republicans, but that’s not stopping Elon Musk from cracking jokes.
Even the richest man in the world couldn’t hold back the blue wave that swept the midterms. After spending an eye-popping $458 million to support GOP candidates who suffered massive losses on Tuesday night, Musk poked fun at himself on X.

“Guess my election-interfering space lasers didn’t work this time,” he quipped, adding a shrugging emoji. In a follow-up post, he used a graphic reading “Sorry! We are experiencing technical difficulties.”
He also mused about the idea of “data centers in space” as a number of races were being called for Democrats late Tuesday evening.

But not everyone is finding humor in the Republican beatdown that resulted in Democrats retaking Congress.
As BizPac Review previously reported, MAGA influencers were gobsmacked by the midterms. Namely, most were confused by the overwhelming nature of the win, claiming the party that celebrated Charlie Kirk’s violent and public assassination was essentially rewarded at the polls. Some even blamed Republicans for refusing to act on the massive spike in support that resulted immediately after his death.

Not only did they kill someone that massively moved the needle in current & future years.
They killed someone that was nearly guarenteed to become a future president. An entrepeneur, a peoples person, someone likeable, educated, proficient.
And Republicans did nothing.

For others, the blame lay squarely with those who refused to pass the SAVE America Act while there was still time.
