Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has blistering advice for Biden’s press secretary KJP in ‘total meltdown’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre got a word of advice from someone who once walked in her shoes.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders suggested President Joe Biden’s top spokesperson should “brush up” her resume as the implosion amid Democrats clamoring for an end to his re-election bid reaches a fever pitch.

Sanders, who served as Donald Trump’s former White House press secretary, told the Daily Mail in an interview at the Republican National Convention this week that the backlash against Jean-Pierre for misleading statements about Biden’s health may end up costing her job.

“My best advice is brush up your resume because I don’t think you’re going to be in that position much longer,” the GOP governor said bluntly.

Sanders expressed that she is “glad” the president and his administration are under more scrutiny by the press which previously carried water for Biden and the Democrats.

“I’m sad it took them three and a half years to get there. But you’re finally seeing them kind of hold their feet to the fire and really push on things frankly, they should have been doing for the last three and a half years,” Sanders said.

Elected as Arkansas’ first female governor in 2022, following in the footsteps of her father, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, the 41-year-old leader is currently the youngest governor in the nation. She served as Trump’s press secretary from 2017 to 2019 and reflected on her time in the White House in an emotional speech at the RNC.

“I think that this party and the Democrats are in total meltdown,” Sanders told the Daily Mail.

As Biden continues to feel relentless pressure from those in his own party to quit his re-election bid, Sanders believes it doesn’t matter if he gets replaced as the nominee.

“I don’t think it matters who’s at the top of the ticket,” she said. “I think Donald Trump is going to win and win big in November because people are tired of the failed leadership that they’ve seen – not just out of this administration, but out of that party.”

“Donald Trump has a unified Republican Party and he’s going to ride that wave into November,” she predicted.

Sanders spoke to the outlet about the assassination attempt on the former president’s life and said she was at home with her family when she learned what had happened at the Pennsylvania rally.

“I think everybody around the country will remember exactly where they were and how they saw that unfold, a truly heartbreaking moment,” she relayed. “Not just for the president and the people that were there, but for the entire country. Because it wasn’t just an attack on him. It was an attack on our entire democracy.”

But the “bigger takeaway” for the governor came when Trump stood strong and hoisted his fist in the air as the Secret Service tried to usher him off the stage. This, she believes, “showed his strength and his resilience and his courage to continue fighting and encourage everybody else to fight alongside him.”

“I think that will be the image that will live on and probably be one of the most defining moments, certainly of his career,” Sanders said.

She indicated that she wants to continue to lead Arkansas as governor but will be helping Trump get re-elected.

“I expect to do everything I can over the next couple of months to help this ticket win because I think it’s important for our entire country to see Trump back in the White House,” she said. “And we’ll be hopefully out on the campaign trail quite a bit.”
