‘He’s completely cooked’: Biden’s BET interview is as uncomfortable as it gets. Here are some low lights…

While trying to explain the “heat” he’s supposedly getting for naming black Americans to positions such as secretary of defense and the Supreme Court, Biden seemed to struggle to recall one name in particular.

During his interview with Ed Gordon of BET News, Biden called Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin a “black man.”

Watch:

“And so it’s all about treating people with dignity,” he mumbled. “For example, look at the heat I’m getting because I named a, uh, the, uh, secretary of defense, [the or a] black man.”

But he doesn’t stop there. He then goes on to incorrectly name Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson simply “Ketanji Brown.”

At another point, Biden was asked what he would tell families who can’t afford groceries or fun family outings. His response? Economic gaslighting and rambling.

“I would tell them what’s happening is, inflation’s coming down. And it is coming down,” he insisted. “You have 16 Nobel Laureates in economics saying that it’s coming down, I think you’re gonna see- I have not spoken to the Fed, my guess is they’re going to reduce rates.”

“But what we have to do is deal with corporate greed. What’s happened here is, since the pandemic corporate profits have doubled,” the president muttered. “For example, I wanna make sure you can’t- corporations that own apartment complexes cannot raise rent beyond five- twenty-fi- five percent in any one year. Period. I wanna see to it that we’re gonna build twenty million new homes.”

If you’re searching for a laugh, Biden wants to make sure there is “access to affordable Internet, just like in Roosevelt’s time.”

“We’re gonna make sure there’s access to affordable Internet just like in Roosevelt’s time, you know, back in, earlier than that, making sure there was electricity [and or in] agriculture in the rural areas,” he said. “And so it, it has just taken time for people to see it.”

Biden also pointed out that most cops are killed responding to domestic violence incidences, which he used to claim “We don’t need more cops.”

“We’re also in a situation where, if you take a look at what we’ve done in terms of the number of police officers for- you know most cops are killed responding to domestic violence and that,” he said. “So we don’t need more cops, what we need is more social workers. We need more people who are in communities building coalitions. That’s growing across the country. That’s growing in neighbors. That’s growing.”

He also once again lied about his involvement in the civil rights movement and bizarrely claimed he was “arrested for being on the porch with a black family.”
