Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib acted so disgracefully during the State of the Union address this Tuesday that some say they wound up giving Republicans the perfect ad content going into the midterms.
Tlaib arrived at the address wearing watermelon earrings in honor of Hamas, in addition to a “F–k ICE” button.

Later during the address, as Republicans were chanting “USA,” she appeared to chant “KKK.”

Omar was worse.
She repeatedly heckled President Donald Trump as he spoke.
Watch:
Donald Trump is declaring we will continue removing illegal alien criminals from our country at the State of the Union
In response, Democrat Rep Ilhan Omar LOSES HER MIND. She screams in outrage over removing illegal criminals from our country
Insane.

Responding later in the evening to their antics, conservative commentator and host Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire predicted that video of their behavior will be readily used by Republicans going into the midterm elections.
“People don’t like those people,” he said. “They don’t like them. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are totally radical and insane. Rashida Tlaib was wearing watermelon earrings in solidarity with the Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Rashida Tlaib was wearing a button that said ‘F ICE’ on the air.”
“There’s a point at which Ilhan Omar pretty clearly on camera mouthed at the president that he was a ‘sick F.’ All that stuff was happening, it was all on camera. And so when you put that on the camera, you say, okay, here are your choices. It’s this versus this,” he added.
CNN’s Scott Jennings made similar remarks after the address but in reference to all the Democrats (not just Tlaib and Omar) refusing to stand up stand up when President Trump told everyone to stand if they believe their first duty is to protect U.S. citizens, not illegal aliens.
First, watch the Democrats remaining seated:
JUST IN: President Trump tells everyone to stand during his SOTU speech who believe the first duty of the U.S. government is to protect American citizens, not illegal immigrants.

“I think the part of the speech that’s probably going to live on for most Republicans is when he asked the Congress, stand up if you think your duty is first to American citizens before illegal aliens. Republicans stood up,” Jennings later said.
“It gave him his most sustained applause for the night. I suspect you’re going to see this in a lot of campaign ads, that Democrats wouldn’t stand up,” he added.

And then there’s Rep. Al Green.
Green was kicked out of the State of the Union address for holding up a sign that read, “Black People Aren’t Apes.”
It was a reference to a “Lion King” parody that Trump shared on social media weeks earlier that featured, among other things, former President Barack Obama and his wife as apes.
Rep. Al Green (D-TX) held up a banner that read, “Black people aren’t apes,” referencing the racist depiction of the Obamas that was posted by Trump earlier this month. Speaking to reporters about these antics later in the night, Speaker Mike Johnson slammed Democrats for their behavior, telling The Hill that they “brought shame upon their party and upon themselves.”
“I mean, the antics were outrageous,” he said. “I came about this close from banging the gavel and having them escorted off the floor. But the president handled it very well. And I thought, you know, let them put that on display.”
“I don’t know if censure is going to be appropriate. I’ll let our colleagues decide that. The point of a censure is to bring someone to the House floor and bring shame upon them for their actions. I think, I think they showed the American people the shame already,” he added.
