U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., waded into yet another controversy over Easter weekend when she tweeted out her disdain over a viral video showing Christians singing and praising the Lord during a flight, prompting many to accuse the Muslim lawmaker of being anti-Christian.
“I think my family and I should have a prayer session next time I am on a plane,” Omar, who is Muslim, tweeted. “How do you think it will end?”
Vernon Jones, a black supporter of former President Donald Trump who now running to represent Georgia in the House of Representatives, responded to ask, “Why do you hate Christians, Ilhan? If the freedom of religion we enjoy here in America disturbs you, feel free to pack your bags and head back to Somalia, Sudan, or wherever you’re from.”
Par for the course when it comes to members of the radically left “squad,” who will never be described as the among the brightest bulbs in Washington, when finding themselves in a hole they furiously keep digging.
Ever the victim, the Somali refugee who now lives a life more akin to a Somali princess — her current and third husband Tim Mynett is reportedly worth between $1.5 million to $2 million, and his political consulting firm had received nearly $3 million from Omar’s campaign until negative attention shut the money spigot off in November 2020 — took to Twitter to denounce those who called the Democrat out for her bigotry toward Christians.
Responding to a supportive tweet from Philly Magazine editor-at-large Ernest Owens, Omar said “the original snowflakes had a complete and glorious meltdown.”

Of course, Omar just drew more scorn her way by attacking her critics… then again, for those who crave attention, they’ll settle for what they have to in order to get their fix.

If you are accused of anti-religion comments. It does not help to make insults towards the people pointing out that you were making anti-religion comments. It just makes you look hateful. https://t.co/hZFfnfdmOI
