Actor James Woods took exception to the spin Fox News put on the headline of a story about President Biden’s son Hunter being deposed in a hotly contested child support case in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Friday.
Lunden Roberts, who is identified in the article as a former stripper, gave birth to now 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts — a judge ruled in Jan. 2020 that Hunter was “with near scientific certainty” the father. In what was reported to be a “highly unusual” occurrence, Roberts was present for the court proceedings last week as the president’s son seeks to lower his $20,000 monthly child support payments.
Fox News promoted the story online with the following headline: “Biden’s son dragged into court as fiery child support battle against ex-stripper heats up.”
Woods saw that banner as “journalistic sexism.”
“He’s called ‘Biden’s son,’ but she’s dismissed as ‘ex-stripper,'” the actor observed in a tweet. “This is journalistic sexism at its lowest.”
But being an all-around swell guy, Woods did more than just complain, he offered a solution by fixing the headline for Fox News: “Why couldn’t the headline just as easily read, ‘Ex-crack addict dragged into court by mother of his child?'”

Hunter Biden had a brief affair with Roberts about five years ago after he ended his romantic involvement with Hallie Biden, the widow of his brother, Beau Biden. Roberts gave birth in August 2018, the same month Hunter married his second wife, Melissa Cohen.
The saddest aspect here is that President Biden does not recognize his own granddaughter — at least not publicly. The questionable circumstances around the little girl’s birth is not the child’s fault.

It’s ok, if it’s protecting Hunter. I guess, they ignore that he was with her. But I guess the full meaning of that is hard for people to get. Unless – the media spells it out. The head line could have said,”Hunter slept with an ex-stripper while coked out and got her knocked up…
