Joe Rogan inches closer to Trump interview, reveals what he wants to ask former president

Podcaster Joe Rogan opened the door to potentially having former President Trump on his show, noting that he has questions and would be interested in hearing his perspective on things.

Rogan has previously stated that he would not have Trump on his show and claims to have turned down previous opportunities to do so.

With the 2024 presidential race looming and it currently appearing that the contest will be between Trump and President Biden, Rogan seems to be itching to speak with the former president about the current and historical political landscape.

The viral podcaster hinted at the possibility of a Trump sitdown on Thursday’s edition of “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He alluded to it while having a discussion with political commentator Patrick Bet-David over business and politics.

“When are you having Trump on,” Bet-David asked Rogan.

“I don’t know,” Rogan answered, appearing torn over the possibility.

“The look — looks like you got something,” Bet-David told him.

“I don’t know – maybe,” Rogan hesitantly stated.

Then he opened up about what he would like to ask Trump, “At a certain point in time, it’s just like. It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things.”

Rogan is dying to know how all the political intrigue works despite vowing last year he would never have Trump on.

“I would like to know what is it like when you actually get into office. I would like to know things like what is it like versus perception. What is it actually like when you get in that building? What are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f***ing with you?” Rogan asked, hinting at what a conversation with the former president would entail.

When do you know the intelligence agencies are lying to you? Like when you decided to fire Comey? What was the thought? How much did you know? What’s the machine like? What is the deep state really like?” he rattled off.

“Really like, because we have all these, you know, smoky room perceptions, like from the Bill Hicks joke or they show you the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before. You know, what is the machine that runs this country? Because it’s very clear that it’s not as simple as elected representatives that are doing the will of the people,” Rogan pointed out.

Bet-David didn’t let up on the subject but it is far from certain that a Rogan/Trump sit-down will ever occur.

“Just so you know, he and I don’t speak. You know, it’s not something that is like, hey, his camp is saying go in there and do this and do that. Now, I’ve never interviewed the guy, so it’s not like I’m lobbying for it,” Bet-David told Rogan.

Despite what Bet-David thinks of the former president, you can tell that from a free speech perspective, he believes it would be a very good thing for the two men to get together.

Rogan is no fan of President Biden either. With roughly 11 million listeners, it would be a fantastic forum for Trump and would hit Biden right where it hurts which may be another reason the podcaster is reconsidering his options. It would set the Internet on fire.

Many can’t wait for the possible podcast:
