Popular podcaster Joe Rogan alleged this week that the 2020 presidential election was “for sure” rigged by the media.
He based this controversial assertion on the media’s handling of the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory, as well as their handling of the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Listen:
“For sure it was rigged by the media. For sure. Just the Hunter Biden laptop case and the Russia collusion case. Just those two things. Just those two narratives that they knew was not true that they pushed out in front of everybody and that we know had to do with trying to get rid of Trump,” he said.
“It’s manipulation of a public narrative. It’s a manipulation of what the people think is real and not real. Everybody thought he was in collusion with Russia. It’s what everybody thought. All these mainstream media outlets — except Fox News — everybody else was pushing it. And it wasn’t true, and it’s proven to be not true,” he added.
Rogan then turned specifically to the media’s treatment of the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“And then there’s the Hunter Biden laptop thing, which they knew was true, which they said wasn’t true. And they stopped people from sharing it on social media. They stopped people from sharing it on Twitter. Zuckerberg sat in that very chair and said the FBI contacted Facebook and told them that it was Russian disinformation,” he said.
“So they limited the spread that. I don’t know how they did. I don’t know what exactly they did to limit the distribution of that. It’s wild sh-t. And no one cares. No one’s up in arms. No one’s freaking out. Because that is a way you’re going to rig an election without rigging an election,” he added.
Lastly, Rogan warned that what happened is “banana republic sh-t.”
“Whether you like that guy or not, we have to follow the rules — we have to, and if we don’t follow the rules because we don’t like somebody, and we break the law because we don’t want someone to win, now it’s banana republic sh-t,” he said.
Responding to Rogan’s remarks, social media users were in stark agreement:
This is why the corporate media slanders RFK Jr as a ‘vaccine denier’ in every headline instead of listening to his ideas. Narrative control.

The strongest argument that it was rigged is the fact that you aren’t allowed to question it. If people don’t want it questioned, then allow people to examine it.

Rigged by the media? Absolutely.
Rigged at the polls? Doubtful.
The real cheating was done through collusion with media and social media to condition uninformed voters.

These media stations need to be held accountable for over reporting and underreporting information to manipulate the masses’ perception of presidential candidates. Surely someone can figure out how to hold them accountable or we are doomed.

It’s concerning to think about the power that corporate media and big tech have when it comes to shaping public opinion and potentially influencing elections. It’s important to have open discussions about these issues to ensure transparency and fairness.

As previously reported, the media spent much of Trump’s presidency accusing him of having colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election.
And then when reports about Hunter Biden’s laptop emerged in the months preceding the 2020 election, the media seized on a false narrative that the story was nothing but so-called “Russian disinformation.”
In both cases, the media were dead wrong. Despite this, the media got to keep all the Pulitzers and other prizes they earned for their false reporting.

To be clear, big tech also played a pivotal role in all of this by censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Also, don’t forget the Orwellian Time magazine piece published in early 2021 in which the magazine openly admitted that a “cabal of powerful people” had worked together in a “shadow campaign” in 2020 to “control the flow of information” and “change voting systems and laws” ahead of the 2020 election.

Even now, the media continue to play a cynical game by pretending that anyone who talks about the 2020 election being rigged is a conspiracy theorist who believes the election was “stolen” from Trump by current President Joe Biden.
But there’s a big difference between the notion of a “rigged” election and a “stolen” one. Alas, the media have conveniently chosen to completely ignore this difference …
