Judge releases teens who attacked ‘Big Balls’…and Dems still wonder why Trump sent Natl Guard to DC?

There appears to be no shortage of liberal activist judges eager to enter the fray in support of their own political beliefs.

Two teenagers allegedly behind the bloody beat down of former DOGE staffer Edward Coristine, aka “Big Balls,” who came to the aid of a woman being carjacked, have been released by Biden-appointed Judge Kendra Briggs — the attack prompted President Donald J. Trump to activate the National Guard as part of an effort to crack down on crime in Washington, D.C.

For what it’s worth, the D.C. attorney general’s office opposed the release of the suspects.

But don’t worry, Briggs placed a “strict curfew” on the 15-year-old girl and boy from Hyattsville, Maryland, who have been charged with unarmed carjacking, saying they can only venture between “school and home, that’s it.”

The girl, who has “major truancy issues” and went missing from home for a few months, according to the judge, will be sent to a youth shelter house, according to the New York Post — she reportedly has “another pending matter” in Maryland, and prosecutors say she is a danger to the community and a flight risk. The boy will be released into his mother’s care.

Both are subject to a 24-hour curfew, electronic monitoring, and must refrain from contacting one another, among other restrictions, the Post reported. They will also face drug testing.

The move only reinforces President Donald Trump’s concerns about the nation’s capital. As expected, Democrats opposed a crackdown on crime, going so far as to imply that there is no crime problem in D.C.  Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who walks around with a protection detail, went on the record to say he feels “perfectly safe” walking around the city.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
