Judges accused of letting alleged Somali rapist off more than a dozen times request more security – for THEMSELVES

The response from Nashville judges to getting called out for recidivist responsibility earned new ire from a congressman over their “gall to publicly complain” about so-called “dangerous rhetoric.”

Like most red states, leftist enclaves like the city of Nashville have allowed for soft-on-crime policies to thrive and criminality to go unchecked. Now, Tennessee Rep. Andy Ogles’ (R) previous condemnation of judges responsible for a foreign national alleged rapist being out on the streets had a new development after their response had included requests for their own security.

“WOKE NASHVILLE JUDGE UPDATE,” the congressman had posted to X on Tuesday. “Instead of apologizing to the family of that young woman who was raped to death, instead of apologizing to the people of Nashville, these judges have the gall to publicly complain about my oversight and call it ‘dangerous rhetoric.'”

“A woman was raped and is now dead because of woke policies, and those on the Davidson County General Sessions Court who let off a dangerous migrant criminal more than twelve times,” he continued while sharing the statement from the judges and their letter to Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R). “These judges are asking Governor Lee to give them heightened security because they feel threatened by my comments. Where were these Judges when she was being raped? Where were they when she lay dying? Do they care at all about the safety of my constituents? Doubtful.”

The statement from the General Sessions Court Judges read in part, “We stand united in condemning any language or actions that target Judges–or any elected officials–with threats of violence as a means of expressing political disagreement. In light of the numerous acts of political violence witnessed in recent years, the statements made by Mr. Ogles are unacceptable.”

They went on to lament how Ogles’ “choice to employ rhetoric invoking violence, even for political grandstanding, carries real and dangerous consequences.”

Specifically, the Tennessee lawmaker had called out the Democrat judges and prosecutors who saw more than a dozen cases brought against Somali-native Mohamed Mohamed dismissed prior to the suspect’s alleged rape of a woman on the steps of a church.

“As long as local liberals are running things in Middle Tennessee, we are at war. The state should impeach all of the judges. Send the guard to Nashville,” wrote Ogles who had proceeded to name the jurists who’d dismissed cases involving Mohmaed as Judges Rachel Bell, Melissa Blackburn, Arron Holt, Lynda Jones, Robin Kimbrough-Hayes and Jim Todd.

The congressman was not alone in his frustration with the judges as, with lawfare and judicial activism so commonplace, many reactions on social media called for greater accountability where it concerned leniency, including the possibility that judges responsible for letting alleged criminals off the hook be “charged as accessories” if further crimes are committed.
