Brett Favre’s accuser’s cutting response to his Parkinson’s diagnosis found social media users reciprocating her take that “Karma never forgets an address.”
Tuesday, the Hall of Fame quarterback, who spent most of his career with the Green Bay Packers, appeared before the House Ways and Means Committee where his testimony regarding a welfare scandal in his home state included an announcement about his health.
While he addressed the scandal that saw him benefit from funds taken from Mississippi’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), former New York Jets host, model, and comedian Jenn Sterger dredged up another controversy with little sympathy for the athlete.
“PSA: Please don’t send me links to it. I’ve seen it. I can read,” she wrote on her Instagram account as word of Favre’s Parkinson’s diagnosis circulated. “I don’t wish bad things on anyone, but I know Karma never forgets an address. Imagine being diagnosed with such a terrible disease and not having the resources to fight it [because] some Hall-of-Fame quarterback stole it? Those are the people that need your attention, support, and sympathy. ”
In 2008, Sterger claimed to be the recipient of inappropriate messages from Favre, including images. A 2010 investigation from the NFL found no evidence that Favre had violated the league’s workplace conduct policy and he ultimately paid a $50,000 fine after admitting to leaving her voicemails and for failing to cooperate with the investigation.
Amid the Mississippi welfare scandal, she had previously posted on X, “Oh… NOWWWWW he gets in trouble for inappropriate texts.”

Furthering her message after Favre’s Tuesday Testimony, the comedian took a dig referencing the symptoms of the neurodegenerative disease as she wrote, “And at least now, his pictures won’t be in focus. Mississippi you deserve better.”
As had been reported, the quarterback who played one season with the Jets remarked during the congressional hearing, “Sadly, I also lost an investment in a company that I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others.”
“I’m sure you’ll understand, while it’s too late for me because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, this is also a cause dear to my heart,” he went on.
Favre asserted that he was unaware of the source of funding as he had taken in more than $1 million from TANF for speaking engagements while misuse of $77 million in funds included money to his alma mater, the University of Southern Mississippi, to fund a new volleyball facility for the team his daughter had played on in 2018.
The take from Sterger found many on X taking the line about karma and throwing it back at her with variations of, “She is correct…Karma never forgets an address. Even people who attempt to get famous off the backs of others.”

So does she now get Karma for saying this?

So bad texts equate to her praising him getting a debilitating brain disease…real nice woman here♂️. Sounds very liberal-ish with the false sense of narcissistic moral

I agree that karma remembers. Which is probably unfortunate for her. What is wrong with people celebrating death and sickness on others.
