In what was billed as Lady Gaga coming to the rescue at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, the recording artist took the time to show concern for a photographer who fell while she traversed the Oscars carpet.
The singer and actress was wearing a risqué sheer black gown that showed off her tattooed backside, which may or may not have attributed to the photographer falling — it appeared that the photographer may have tripped trying to avoid stepping on the dress that seemingly had a little too much starch.
Either way, upon hearing a loud thud — this being the photographer hitting the ground — Lady Gaga quickly turned and went to the man’s aid. She attempted to help him back up, but he was pretty much back to his feet before she arrived.
And while she didn’t really do anything special, other than take the time to show concern for a fellow human being, that didn’t stop the Hollywood media from gushing, People Magazine shared the footage on Instagram, along with the caption: “#LadyGaga to the rescue! ❤️ She stopped and immediately turned around to help someone who had fallen on the #Oscars red carpet.”

“Her First and foremost rule ‘always be Human,'” a social media user wrote. “She is always a class act,” another person commented. Yet another posted, “Beautiful and a kind soul.”
While the Oscars are all about glitz and glamour — and diversity, it would seem — Lady Gaga put all that aside in favor of pure, raw talent when she performed “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” at the ceremony.
Appearing on stage in a stripped-down ensemble of a black t-shirt and ripped jeans, and a lot less makeup, the artist, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, talked about the need for heroes in our lives.
“I think we all need each other — we need a lot of love to walk through this life. And we all need a hero sometimes,” she said, in introducing the song. “There’s heroes all around us in unassuming places, but you might find that you can be your own hero, even if you feel broken inside.”
