A major American construction equipment manufacturer has joined the growing list of companies backtracking on “woke” policies of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Caterpillar Inc. made “preemptive changes” to its hiring and company guidelines after being contacted by conservative activist Robby Starbuck who announced the about-face in a social media post and video, calling it a “massive win for sanity.”
“Big news: Weeks ago I began communicating with executives at @CaterpillarInc to let them know that I was planning to expose their woke policies. Today they’re making preemptive changes,” Starbuck wrote.

Caterpillar’s decision follows in the footsteps of similar moves in recent weeks by Jack Daniel’s, Harley-Davidson, Tractor Supply, and John Deere, all targeted by Starbuck who has been on a mission to expose and reverse the DEI schemes at various corporations.
The nearly-century-old company, headquartered in Texas, is the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment with over 113,000 employees globally, according to Starbuck who said it will now no longer be conducting “woke trainings” or donating to “divisive events.”
“They will not participate in the @HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index social credit system,” he wrote, referring to the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index survey – an annual ranking of LGBTQ-friendly companies.
In addition, sponsorships, speakers, donations, and events now will be approved at the executive level in order to avoid anything that is divisive or politically charged.
“Caterpillar employees were all notified of the changes via email at 1 PM CT today. It’s worth noting that this is a company with a $177 Billion dollar market cap and 113,000 employees. Those employees will no longer be subjected to the insanity we found during our investigation,” Starbuck noted. “Work going forward should be a neutral place for everyone to co-exist without any ideology or divisive issues shoved down their throat. This is a massive win for sanity.”
He lauded executives for adopting “corporate neutrality” and setting the company up for future success.
“The companies who adopt neutrality will win the future because they don’t violate the core beliefs of the consumers they rely on,” he wrote.
The former music video director, who grew up in California after his parents fled communist Cuba, has been on an unrelenting mission to eradicate toxic DEI campaigns at various companies.
“Our campaigns are so effective that we’re getting some of the biggest corporations on earth to change their policies without me even posting a video first just from the fear they have of being the next company we expose,” he wrote on X.
“The landscape of corporate America is quickly shifting to sanity and neutrality. We are the trend now, not the anomaly,” he added. “We’re winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America.”
In the recent case of Jack Daniel’s, company executives reversed course after Starbuck contacted them, saying, “First, we believe we must make some changes to account for the ever-changing landscape.”
These changes included ensuring that “executive incentives and employee goals are tied to business performance” and not DEI progress. Similar changes have been implemented in other companies that have been exposed by Starbuck.
“We are a force to be reckoned with and we won’t stop until wokeness is extinct,” he wrote in the celebratory post on X.
