The same day that officials in Arizona had issued a warrant for the arrest of a man suspected of threatening the life of former President Donald Trump, a federal indictment charged a Memphis-area man for threats made against a trio of Democrats.

Kyl Alton Hall, 37, had previously been arrested in Mississippi, and Friday, the Justice Department announced one count each for threats against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris under U.S. Code, Section 871(a) and one count for a threat against former President Barack Obama under U.S. Code, Section 879(a)(1).

Hall was alleged to have posted threats against the Democratic Party leaders that voiced intent to “kill, assassinate, shoot, and crash the plane” of Biden along with alleged threats of assassination against Harris and Obama on July 27.

Each count comes with up to five years in prison, amounting to up to 15 years behind bars if found guilty.

According to WREG, the suspect was arrested on July 30 by the Southaven Police Department on unrelated charges as Hall was alleged to have received stolen property, committed contempt of court, and been a fugitive from justice in addition to a charge of False Pretense.

Speaking with the outlet, Hall’s mother, Sharron Hall, said that she believes her son is schizophrenic as he sometimes sounds normal and sometimes claims, “I am God” and “I’m in the Illuminati.”

“It hurts us what he’s going through mentally, there’s nothing that we can do for him. We tried. We tried to get him on meds. Got him committed to the hospital and stuff so he can get help. There’s just not much more we can do,” she explained as the father, Kenneth Hall, said, “He doesn’t need to spend time in jail. He’s done that and that’s done nothing but make things worse for him.”

Hall’s indictment came the same day that the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office issued a wanted notice for 66-year-old Ronald Syrvud, suspected of threatening the life of former President Donald Trump.

Syrvud was arrested Thursday and his record showed a number of outstanding warrants related to a DUI, failure to appear in court in Wisconsin, a felony hit and run in Arizona, and failure to register as a sex offender.

Meanwhile, having already survived an assassination attempt on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump was joined at a rally in Glendale, Arizona Friday by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after the independent candidate had suspended his own campaign to support the GOP leader against Harris.

During the event, the former president announced that, if elected for a second administration, he would establish a presidential commission on assassination attempts that would, in part, be “tasked with releasing all of the remaining documents pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”
