A woman described as a “maniac” who supports Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is being accused of biting the Wayne County Republican Party chair while disrupting a rally for GOP candidate Tudor Dixon.
What’s more, the woman is reportedly a Dearborn elementary school teacher.
The incident took place over the weekend at a Dixon rally in southwest Detroit, with witnesses saying the woman was at the event alone and that her intentions were to disturb the peace, according to WXYZ-TV.
“She was acting so chaotic that I was worried she would go after the speakers or something or hurt somebody,” Cheryl Costantino told the ABC affiliate — the GOP chair further explained that she tried to block the woman from moving toward the stage.
Costantino said that the woman began pushing back when “she just bent over and bit me really hard.”
“I’ve never been bit by an adult in my life, or anyone over 5,” she said, producing photos of what she said were bite marks and bruising from the attack.
“The top was a compression injury because of how hard her jaw bit me,” Costantino said. “So when it started swelling up, I couldn’t even raise my arm, like it was even uncomfortable just to drive.”

A witness, Linda Sawyer, told WXYZ that she saw the whole thing and later confronted the woman outside the event.
“I was exiting and she was still by the door and I went to her and I said, ‘You bit Cheryl’ and she said, “Yeah, well,'” Sawyer said. “Like she was proud of it.”
The ABC affiliate confirmed that the woman is a special education teacher in Dearborn, but did not identify her. The woman, who was seen in one photo holding up a campaign sign for the Democratic governor who holds a narrow lead according to polls, denied the allegation and claimed she was attacked.
Here’s a first-hand account of the incident that includes the allegation that after biting Constantino, the woman got into an altercation with security guards, “hitting, punching and kicking” the men:

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
Seriously, biting someone is how a badly-behaved four-year-old would react when they don’t get their way, and these emotionally-stunted people are the ones responsible for teaching our children?

What I really want to know is if she’s had her rabies

I’m not sure this may vary from place to place but I believe a human bite is aggravated assault.

She should be fired from her job and not be allowed to work with children, ever again!
