Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Kentucky, is taking a victory lap over forcing a vote to release the Epstein files.
Massie claimed that President Donald Trump “got tired of me winning” in a Monday interview, boasting about his victory in forcing a vote on the release of the Epstein files. He was joined by Rep. Ro Khanna, D-California, for a CNN interview on the issue.

President Donald Trump is supporting the House Republicans’ vote to release the files, stating in a Truth Social post that we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown.'”
This is being considered a “reversal” of his previous stance, and Massie is considering this a personal victory.
“Well, he got tired of us winning and he decided to join us,” Massie said. “Look, they could have done this four months ago, and instead they fought us every bit of the way. Now they want to be on our side, we’ll accept their support, but we’re a little bit suspicious of this sudden turn of events, so we’ll keep an eye on things. We’re worried that maybe they’ll try to muck it up in the Senate. But I do think we’re going to get a straight up or down vote tomorrow on the language that Ro Khanna and I introduced and I think it’s going to be a very big vote. I think we’ll get at least a veto proof majority.”

What’s the purpose if the majority of it is going to be redacted?

Will the Senate stop it? Or the DOJ/FBI’s new investigation? (Didn’t they say the files “don’t exist”?)
The DOJ/FBI can, then, stop disclosure (it’s part of an active investigation).
Let’s HOPE it’s not another binder fiasco {:
I’ll believe it when I see it {:

Good. Let’s see what’s there. I still have doubts.

…well, that’s one way to put it, @RepThomasMassie.
But the truth is that @POTUS DEMANDED that the files be released.
Stop stealing others thunder!

That was a fair interview. If Trump released everything before the vote, wouldn’t that be the ultimate cover for Congress? We definitely need to see a vote.
