Melania Trump’s first-ever memoir chronicling ‘my truth’ a hit on Amazon weeks before release

Former First Lady Melania Trump’s first-ever memoir, “Melania,” is already a big hit despite not even being released yet.

Due for release on Oct. 1st, the book has already hit the top of several of Amazon’s “Best Sellers” lists, including for the categories “Memoirs,” “U.S. Presidents,” and “Political Leader Biographies.”

“Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows,” the former first lady told Fox News. “Each story shaped me into who I am today. Although daunting at times, the process has been incredibly rewarding, reminding me of my strength, and the beauty of sharing my truth.”

The memoir tells the “powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity, and defined personal excellence,” according to an official press release.

“The former First Lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life,” the press release continues. “Melania includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public.”

The book is available at three prices — $40 for a regular copy, $75 for a signed copy, and $150 for a collector’s edition.

All this comes a few weeks after Melania celebrated the 18th-year anniversary of her becoming a U.S. citizen:

“For me, reaching the milestone of American citizenship marked the sunrise of certainty,” she previously said while speaking during this year’s National Archives Naturalization Ceremony.

“At that exact moment, I forever discarded the layer of burden connected with whether I would be able to live in the United States. I hope you’re blanketed with similar feelings of comfort right now,” she added.

She continued by arguing that the responsibility of  becoming a citizen includes “actively participating in the democratic process and guarding our freedom.”

“It also means leading by example and contributing to our society,” she said. “It is a life-altering experience that takes time, determination, and sometimes, even tremendous strength.”

Melania was quite busy during the Trump administration and continues to remain busy afterward.

“During her time as first lady, Trump hosted virtual roundtables on foster care as part of her ‘Be Best’ initiative and focused on strengthening the child welfare system,” Fox News notes. “She worked with members of Congress on legislation that secured funding for grants awarded to youth and young adults currently or formerly in foster care to help pay for college, career school, or training. The bill ultimately was signed by then-President Donald Trump in December 2020.”

“Since leaving the White House, the former first lady has also created special edition Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). A portion of those proceeds also went toward her initiative ‘Fostering the Future’ to secure educational opportunities and scholarships for children in the foster care community,” according to Fox News.

Melania previously made headlines when she surprised her husband, former President Donald Trump, on stage at the Republican National Convention last month.

The two went on to tenderly embrace one another and share kisses on the cheek as the crowd cheered.

Dovetailing back to the present, Melania is now facing backlash from leftists who claim her book cover is too similar to that of “Chanel Catwalk,” a fashion book that’s been on sale for a couple of years.

“The 54-year-old former first lady’s tell-all, Melania, bears only her first name in white text, centered over an all-black cover,” The Daily Beast complains. “The design is incredibly simple but doesn’t appear to be an original artistic decision.”

“That’s because the memoir bears striking similarities to Chanel Catwalk, a 2020 book by the French author Patrick Mauriès. … Like Melania, the book’s title is in all caps, centered over a black background in white text of a similar font and size,” the complaining continues.
