Missouri teacher outed for OnlyFans side gig resigns to focus on lucrative porn site: ‘It’s been a journey’

When St. Clair R-XIII School District administrators discovered that Missouri high school teacher Brianna Coppage was moonlighting as an OnlyFans porn star, they put her on leave.

Now Coppage, 28, says she’s resigning from her career as an educator to focus on the lucrative sex-filled site she runs with her husband.

The titillating teacher taught English to St. Clair freshmen and sophomore students, about 55 miles southwest of St. Louis.

During the summer, Coppage launched her OnlyFans channel to offset her meager teacher’s salary of $42,000, according to the New York Post.

“It was kind of always like this cloud hanging over my head, like I never knew when I would be discovered,” she told the St. Louis Post-Dispaatch following her suspension. “Then, about two weeks ago, my husband and I were told that people were finding out about it. So I knew this day was coming.”

Her porn site paid off. According to The Post, Coppage’s OnlyFans channel “raked in between $8,000 and $10,000 per month, which has since doubled following the news of her suspension.”

“(The district says) they haven’t made a decision yet, but I’m just kind of putting the pieces together that I am not coming back,” Coppage said at the time. “I’m very aware that I am probably never going to teach again, but that was kind of the risk I knew I was taking. I am sad about that. I do miss my students.”

On Tuesday, Coppage announced to The Messenger her new career path.

“I don’t want to fight the school district. I’m just ready for peace,” she told the outlet. “I knew that nothing was ever going to be the same if I went back so that was just the best option.”

Her decision was inspired, she said, out of concern for the school and her former students.

“I don’t want the school to continue getting hate,” Coppage said. “I would like the education of students to be able to return to normal, they deserve to have a great year.”

Coppage “holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education and was working towards a specialist degree,” according to The Messenger. Her decision to enter the adult content arena was, she stressed, “financially driven.” She did, after all, have student loans to pay back.

Her fears of being discovered were soothed by the fact that her OnlyFans content could only be accessed by subscribers who paid a fee. An adult discovered her channel and reported it to school officials. Had that adult — and Coppage has her suspicions as to the adult’s identity — kept quiet, she believes the students would have never known about her side gig.

“Never do I think that students or children should have been exposed to this and I truly believe had an adult not found it, and I was told that an adult is who reported it, students never would have known,” she said.

Returning to the classroom wasn’t a likely option after “having your face and your name plastered all around the world,” she reasoned.

“It’s been a journey for sure, the last couple of days have definitely been a roller coaster,” she said. “It turned our life upside down.”

But she and her husband are looking forward to directing their energy into her OnlyFans channel — not just for the money, but because she likes the work.

In fact, getting suspended in such a public way has given her career a boost in the form of thousands of new subscribers.

“I’ve gotten a lot of support on the site,” Coppage said, “so that’s definitely encouraging.”
