Musk trolls Trump-haters over victory with photo of himself in Oval office

Nodding to the past with a look toward a “fantastic” future, Elon Musk revisited a classic joke, marked by many as integral to former President Donald Trump’s victory.

While meltdowns ensued across corporate media and the leftist landscape, the MAGA movement and GOP had a great deal to celebrate. As the 45th president became the 47th president-elect, the impact that the world’s richest man had thus far in the United States foreshadowed his anticipated influence on the next administration as he reminded the nation to “Let that sink in.”

Among the celebrants at Trump’s victory party, Elon Musk made a number of posts throughout the night that included a reference to his entry at Twitter headquarters after officially acquiring the social media platform in 2022. The image of him carrying a sink into the company since named X was superimposed into the Oval Office with the same pun.

However, jokes weren’t all that the tech entrepreneur had to offer as, after having an influential role in the get-out-the-vote effort, the billionaire’s penchant for cutting waste and inefficiency was expected to be put to use toward the mission of streamlining the federal government.

Optimism effused the messages from Musk as he harkened back to President Ronald Reagan when he posted, “It is morning in America again…” and spoke to what was on the horizon for the doers in the country when he wrote, “America is a nation of builders…Soon, you will be freed to build.”

“The people of America gave @realDonaldTrump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight,” he noted in no uncertain terms.

During Trump’s victory speech, the president-elect brought up the visionary engineer with compliments to SpaceX’s successful booster catch and the deployment of Starlink throughout the areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene to help restore communication.

“Oh, let me tell you, we have a new star. A star is born. Elon!” said the once and future GOP leader. “He’s an amazing guy.”

Of course, beyond the endorsement spurred on by the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt and the active campaigning throughout the closing weeks of the election, many attributed the path to victory for Trump to Musk’s fight for free speech absolutism that saw him purchase Twitter, expose censorship efforts and remove corporate media’s stranglehold on narratives.

“You are the media now,” asserted the billionaire amid the praise.

With expectations high that he would fulfill the promise of cutting $2 trillion from the federal budget and whatever other waste was possible to leave in the past, the “Game, set and match” of Trump’s Election Day victory had Musk looking ahead as he not only suggested “The future is gonna be fantastic,” but also, “The future is gonna be so [fire].”
