New York City private schools boasting elitist alums were revealed to be teaching gender ideology to kids as young as four and five years old through “sexuality curriculums.”
While corporations like Target and Anheuser-Busch feel the sting from American consumers fed up with woke agendas, some of those with money to burn seem all too eager to pile on the indoctrination. The New York Post spoke to educators and parents associated with some of the city’s private schools they revealed are promoting “children are sexual from birth”
“Having a social-sexually coded identity means that you, as a baby, can start to be taught about sexual behaviors and awareness,” said Paul Rossi, a former math teacher at Grace Church School.
Now with Vertex Partnership Academies, a charter school in the Bronx, Rossi explained, “The core assumption is children are sexual from birth, and this goes to the heart [of] what is driving this. I have seen teacher trainings where they say that explicitly.”
Among the schools peddling “sexuality curriculums” was The Dalton School, a private institution on Manhattan’s Upper East Side once attended by CNN’s Anderson Cooper and actress Julie Warner, according to the Post, with annual tuition for kindergartners upward of $60,000.
Per their website, Dalton detailed their youngest students will “develop an appreciation for, and value the importance of diversity by directly addressing issues of fairness, gender equity, and social justice.”
Previously, the school had come under fire in 2021 when parents had learned their first graders had been shown a video considered a primer on masturbation where animated figures said, “Sometimes I touch my penis because it feels good” and “Sometimes, when I’m in my bath or mom puts me in bed, I like to touch my vulva too.”

A former Dalton parent told the Post the school “has been sending home books about whatever the latest topic is to First Program kids for years, all the alternative lifestyle books — so I would have no doubt that they would glom onto anything like that.”
The Upper East Side institution is crosstown at The Collegiate School on Freedom Place South, kindergartners “participate in diversity, equity, and belonging education through which they explore their own identities, and learn to appreciate and value diversity,” according to their website.
“Related to this work is a gender and sexuality curriculum,” that details, “there is no right or wrong way to be a boy or a girl.”
“No wonder children enter their teen years emotionally weak and fragile,” one Collegiate parent lamented. “And no wonder Collegiate has increased the number [of] ‘mental health’ professionals.”
The Post highlighted former President Barack Obama’s White House aide Ben Rhodes had attended Collegiate, as did actor David Duchovny. Speaking with Heritage Foundation senior research fellow Jay Richards, the financial incentive to push the “radical ideology of expressive individualism” was brought to the forefront.
“There are massive medical incentives, including pharmaceutical companies that stand to make money from puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones,” Richards pointed out. “Any patient that receives gender affirming care, that’s a lifelong customer for drug companies.”
Despite the backlash, corporations have continued to show their favor for kowtowing to alphabet activists in June with Pottery Barn and Cracker Barrel being two of the most recent culprits.
None of the schools reportedly responded to The Post’s request for comment.
