NYC councilwoman videos confrontation with man at ‘squatter house,’ who blows pot smoke in her face

A Queens man identified as a “squatter” by a local politician made it clear when confronted by the woman that he could not care less what the neighborhood thought of him.

New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino shared a video of her encounter with the man leaving a foreclosed home owned by Wells Fargo that was subject to a partial vacate order issued on Sunday that prohibits anyone from occupying the second floor due to cracks and holes in the roof, according to the New York Post.

“There’s a known squatter house in my district at 20th Ave and 146th street in College Point. This morning I viewed the house and confronted the squatters personally. This will not stand on my watch. Homeowners have rights and our neighborhoods deserve better. More action coming,” she tweeted.

In the footage, Paladino is standing on the sidewalk in front of the property as the man backed out of the driveway.

“Can I help you with something?” he asked, condescendingly.

Pointing to the house, which has broken and boarded up windows, the councilwoman said, “Yeah, this is a disgrace.”

“Go f–k yourself,” he replied, prompting a hearty return from Paladino, “Go f–k yourself. How’s that?”

She pointed out to the man they he had just gotten an eviction notice and told him they she’d make sure he would be getting out.

“Because we won’t have this going on in this neighborhood,” Paladino said. “It won’t happen. It just won’t happen.”

“I’m sorry,” the man said sarcastically, with Paladino firing back, “You’re not sorry.”

The man was smoking something and he got out of the car in an apparent attempt to intimidate the politician, but she was not deterred, asking him, “What are you dealing out of this house.”

“Why don’t you do me a f–king favor and get the f–k over there? Because this is mine,” he said, pointing to the property line.

“I’m an elected official,” she countered.

“I don’t give a f–k who you are. You’re still over here. Go the f–k over there,” he replied.

Paladino yielded to the man’s demand — who knows what he may be capable of — but then asked, “Whattaya got in your mouth?”

“Weed,” the man said, after blowing a cloud of smoke into her face.

“Get the f–k out of here,” he said, when she protested. “It’s legal. What’s disgusting? Go f–k yourself.”
