NYC woman seen on video telling kids ‘Hitler should have killed you’, spitting on 8-yr-old now in custody

Cops have arrested the woman who allegedly stormed up to three Jewish children last week and snarled, “Hitler should have killed you all,” before spitting on an 8-year-old boy, Brooklyn police announced.

Christina Darling, 26, was arrested and charged Friday with aggravated harassment and menacing, both as hate crimes, and acting in a manner injurious to a child, NYPD Hate Crimes said.

The incident took place on Avenue P near Coleman Street in Marine Park, about five blocks from the suspect’s home. Darling reportedly told the children, “I’ll kill you and know where you live.”

Footage released by the NYPD Tuesday morning showed the woman standing menacingly in front of the kids as she spat on the boy. Darling, dressed in an orange hoodie and black Ugg-style boots, then fled the scene, according to police.

Details on how police located Darling were not immediately known, but it didn’t take Twitter long to begin a virtual manhunt.

A petition on Change.org identified the assailant as a St. Francis College student and called for her expulsion.

“I urge President Miguel Martinez-Saenz to stand by his promises and denounce this horrifying act of racism, bigotry, and harassment against the Jewish people,” the petition reads. “If appropriate disciplinary action isn’t taken, an egregious precedent will be set.”

The hateful crime is just one of many to terrorize Jews in recent months.

According to an article posted last Sunday on the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) website, “crimes targeting the Jewish community consistently constitute over half of all religion-based crimes.”

ADL tracked 2,024 reported antisemitic incidents throughtout the country in 2020. “While this was a four percent decrease from the 2,107 incidents recorded in 2019, it was still the third-highest year on record since ADL began tracking antisemitic incidents in 1979,” according to the article.

And last Saturday, the nation sat in horror as the FBI Hostage Rescue Team stormed a synagogue in Colleyille, Texas, the scene of a more than 10-hour standoff during which four people, including the rabbi, were held by a Muslim British national. The terrorist, who died at the scene, was reportedly demanding the release of Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani neuroscientist currently  serving an 86-year prison sentence in nearby Fort Worth over attempts to kill US soldiers in Afghanistan.

In a Twitter post following Darling’s arrest, NYPD Hate Crimes unit thanked the public for its role in her capture.

Social media responded quickly to the arrest:
