When an “unknown prankster” hid Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears’ gavel, she decided to take the “Cinderella” route and gavel in the Virginia Senate with her own shoe.
“[Winsome Sears] gaveled Virginia Senate to order with high-heeled patent leather pump after an unknown prankster hid her gavel. She took the trick in stride: ‘One shoe can change your life. Just ask Cinderella,'” tweeted Washington Post reporter Laura Vozzella, including a photo of the shiny shoe for emphasis.
Sears retweeted the photo reminding everyone to “never underestimate” resourcefulness.
