Out-of-touch actress Kyra Sedgwick claims she’s ‘scared’ she’ll lose her ‘right to vote as a woman’

It remains a mystery why Hollywood elitists think the nation cares about their political views and how they feel about President Donald J. Trump, but you can add actress Kyra Sedgwick to the list of entitled celebrities who couldn’t care less about offending fans now that they’ve banked a few million.

Sedgwick, who is married to actor Kevin Bacon, posted a video last month talking about how she’s “scared” of losing her rights under a Trump presidency.

“How you doing? I felt like it was important to get on the blower and talk a little bit about how I’m feeling and wondering how you’re feeling about the state of our union,” she asked in a clip shared on social media.

“I’m finding myself pretty scared about a lot of things, scared about losing my rights as a woman, scared about losing my right to vote as a woman, scared about losing autonomy over my body as a woman, scared of my parents’ social security checks, scared of food banks running out of food and not being able to replenish because they’re no longer getting federal funding,” Sedgwick continued.

She went on the plug the April 5th Hands Off protest, which was billed as a nationwide display of public resistance against the second administration of President Trump.

“Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They’re taking everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them,” declared a website set up for the protest.

All of which shows just how much of a liberal ideologue Sedgwick is to fall for such nonsense. Then again, Bacon and Sedgwick were involved in a grassroots organization called Swing Left, which was focused on electing Democrats in the 2024 election, so there’s that.

For the record, Bacon and Sedgwick have an estimated net worth of around $45 million, and that’s after they were scammed for millions by Bernie Madoff.

Speaking of Bacon, his Prime Video horror series, “The Bondsman,” was just canceled after a debut season of just eight episodes — pity.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
