Patriotic leaning wine surges as major retailers pile in

Putting service first and patriotism back in style, We The People Wine’s commitment to American exceptionalism has drawn nationwide appeal, and major retailers are taking notice.

You’ve seen their promotional ads endorsing the values that inspired the American dream and maybe, like many Floridians, you’ve loved seeing cultural icons unapologetically featured on a billboard driving down the highway. Now, around 500 locations across the country are set to carry We The People wines so you too can raise a glass to a good cause.

Unlike other patriotic brands, its founder and CEO Ryan Coyne has made giving back a priority for We The People, a truly non-profit venture where every sale contributes to charity.

After raising more than $250,000 in donations in its first year alone, the wine “for Americans by Americans” will be working to reach customers with the nation’s second-largest wine and spirits distributor, Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC), especially throughout the southeast.

For one, Total Wine with its nearly 250 locations across 27 states and territories will be carrying We The People while H-E-B, with more than 340 stores, will also be a proud retail provider.

Meanwhile, Florida-based ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and The Fresh Market, itself in more than 20 states, are helping bring We The People Wine to your get-togethers and casual night-ins.

Already, hundreds of on-premise locations are awaiting their shipments and the Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are expected to be available in more than 1,000 locations by the end of the year thanks to their rapid expansion.

Along with its positive message and purpose, much of We The People’s success is owed to its direct-to-consumer outreach.

The marketing has much to be admired and has shown the impact that holding true to principles can have. In fact, its Instagram account alone boasts nearly 30,000 followers, almost six times as many as The Federalist Wines and roughly 30 times over that of Liberty Creek Vineyards.

As ever, the greater the success of We The People Wine, the wider the reach of its nonprofit goals.

For instance, after Hurricane Ian impacted millions last fall, We The People Wine promised $4 from every bottle sold to provide aid and humanitarian relief in concert with RNDC to bolster the Florida Relief Fund overseen by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis.

At the time, We The People President Marshall Bush said, “We The People is committed to assisting our neighbors and to stand beside the brave first responders working around the clock on recovery efforts. Americans have always stepped forward to support one another in the wake of natural disasters, and we are proud to carry on that tradition.”

Similarly, We The People supports The Working Warrior Foundation, operated by Coyne and Bush along with Gary Foley, in providing “crucial assistance to heal the wounded, help the families of those we have lost, and support those who are still serving.”

“The duty of service members is to help us lead safer lives. My duty is to help service members in turn,” Bush said. “I’m proud to be of assistance to them and their families.”
