Joe Rogan on cult of transgenderism: ‘Civilizations at the brink of collapse become obsessed with gender’

Podcaster Joe Rogan had some thoughts on the “f*cking nonsense” from corporate media tiptoeing around the Nashville transgender murderer’s pronouns, with some deeper thoughts on what that means for society as a whole.

Recently, the host spoke with guest, journalist Michael Shellenberger, and the two endeavored to make sense of the coverage about the identity of the suspect responsible for killing three children and three adults at Covenant Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee. On that subject, Rogan stated, “There’s all these articles that came out about the misgendering of the school shooter.”

“First of all, that person’s dead, okay? It doesn’t matter if you call it a boy or a girl, that’s a dead person who killed three children and three adults in a horrific way, went into a school, and shot a bunch of people,” he said before several minutes were devoted to deciphering reports to make certain whether the murdered had been a male that thought he was a woman or, what she actually turned out to be, a female that thought she was a male.

That lead to a reference to political commentator and author Douglass Murray’s analysis of society and Rogan said, “It seems like every civilization when they’re at the brink of collapse becomes obsessed with gender, and [Murray] talked about ancient Greece, in ancient Rome, and it just seems like a thing that people do when there’s no real…physical conflict, so people look for conflict that doesn’t exist, and they find conflict in standard norms. They find conflict in societal norms.”

“I think this whole thing is nonsense, I really do. I think it’s f*cking nonsense,” the host stated during the conversation. “I don’t give a f*ck what their feeling is.”

“What mental gymnastics we have to do for this craziness,” Rogan also pointed out as he and Shellenberger stumbled over ideological concepts of “dead-naming” and “misgendering.”

The broader position of what this indicated of a society stuck out to many who latched onto Rogan’s argument and either echoed the host or made their own argument.

“I wonder though if our leadership knows our society is collapsing, then deliberately brought forth the mislabeling of human beings? If it’s historical then they would be aware. At least you would think they were,” one person wrote as another said, “Without struggle, we become weak, so people will find a struggle, even when it’s fictional.”

The pair would also go on to point out, as many have recently, that transgenderism has become a religion unto itself where the self is treated as a god. As previously reported, Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a similar argument when he said in part, “People who believe they are God can’t stand to be reminded that they’re not. Christianity and transgender orthodoxy are wholly incompatible theologies. They can never be reconciled. They are on a collision course with each other. One side is likely to draw blood before the other side.”
