In what was dubbed the “perfect response to [a] frivolous lawsuit,” Buffalo Wild Wings offered up a hilarious confession on Twitter.
Responding after a judge threw out a $9 million lawsuit from an Illinois man who claimed that the boneless wings served by the restaurant chain were just overpriced chicken nuggets, as reported by the Daily Mail, Buffalo Wild Wings admitted in a tweet that their boneless wings are not technically wings — it doesn’t require rocket science to figure this out.
“It’s true. Our boneless wings are all white meat chicken. Our hamburgers contain no ham. Our buffalo wings are 0% buffalo,” read a tweet from the company’s official Twitter account.

The lawsuit was filed by Aimen Halim against Buffalo Wild Wings and owner Inspire Brands, and he claimed their popular boneless wings are just “slices of chicken breast meat deep-fried like wings,” according to the Daily Mail.
Seeking $9,999,000 in damages, Halim said the boneless wings should be cheaper and suggested that customers might not purchase them at all if they knew what they were actually made of.
The story prompted a lot of interesting comments online, proving that while Americans may be apathetic to the toxic state of politics today, they take their dining establishments seriously.
