Let’s face it: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has had a really bad couple of weeks… and social media has been loving every delicious minute of it.
Faster than you can say “small fringe minority,” the PM vanished from sight, as thousands of Canadians gathered in the nation’s capital to protest his oppressive vaccine mandates.
Four days after the truckers left Vancouver on their historic trek to Ottawa — and just one day after insulting all of them — Trudeau went into hiding… err… “isolation,” after being exposed to COVID-19.
The news sent ripples of doubt through the Twitterverse, with one user calling the timing “serendipitous.”
Prime Minister Trudeau is in a rather serendipitous COVID isolation for a few days.
Whether he will really be at home or in Tofino, B.C., remains to be seen
as PMO press bulletins on such matters are notoriously duplicitous.

On Saturday, after videos of citizens braving the cold to bring the truckers and their canine co-pilots a hot meal went viral and passionate but peaceful protesters began to fill the streets of Ottawa, Canadians learned their fearless leader had flown the coop.

The reaction was swift, brutal, and often hilarious, as the meme masters kicked it into overdrive.

“What kind of leader goes into hiding when the entire country is calling him out?” asked Dr. Debra Soh.
The kind who wears disguises, suggested another user.
This kind- be aware of his disguises when looking for him 😉 pic.twitter.com/UQyqgvHZER

And Dr. Jordan Peterson encouraged “puppet” Trudeau to face the music.

Twitter-wide, the conclusion was largely the same: Justin Trudeau is a coward, unwilling to face the people he serves and unable to defend the policies they clearly don’t want.

Is there a more gutless and cowardly display than a tyrant on the run? #DeportTrudeau https://t.co/veWcN9g0f1

What a complete coward. He won’t even face the citizens he has discriminated against. https://t.co/wUTYGL8HqD

History will remember Trudeau as a tyrant and a coward. https://t.co/nUX7P1q12A

And then, Monday, came the really big news: Justin Trudeau isn’t just running and hiding, the fully vaxxed prime minister now has COVID-19.
“This morning, I tested positive for COVID-19,” he stated on Twitter. “I’m feeling fine — and I’ll continue to work remotely this week while following public health guidelines.
And because he can’t seem to help himself, Trudeau added, “Everyone, please get vaccinated and get boosted.”

He’s not exactly a convincing spokesperson for the vaccine he wants to force Canadian truckers to get.
Trudeau received his own booster shot less than a month ago, and now we can all see how well that worked out for him.
Got my booster shot this morning. To everyone out there who’s gotten their shots, and to the health care workers who are getting these shots into arms, thank you for doing your part. And to anyone who’s eligible but hasn’t yet been vaccinated or boosted, please, do that now. pic.twitter.com/X5Qjm5h7NZ

The much celebrated Freedom Convoy and those who have supported it despite freezing temperatures has captivated the world.
The convoy rolled into Ottawa on Saturday, spurring thousands to converge on the capital. What started as a protest against mandates for cross-border truckers has become a nation’s cry for the end of what many are calling “medical apartheid.”
As Elon Musk pointed out, it appears it is Canada’s government that is the “fringe minority,” not the people who are determined to be free of the COVID restrictions. And a lack of any counter-protests is telling.
If the government had the mandate of the people, there would be a significant counter-protest. There is not, therefore they do not.

As for the Prime Minister, his “serendipitous” exposure to COVID may turn out to be a swan song, as his diagnoses delivers a kill shot to his already crumbling narrative.
