President Joe Biden got a good chuckle over being asked about Donald Trump being arraigned Tuesday in New York City by a Democratic prosecutor widely believed to be enacting political revenge against the former president.
Biden spoke in the State Dining Room at the White House ahead of a meeting with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and reporters began shouting out questions when he concluded.
“Is the indictment of your predecessor politically divisive?” a reporter asked.
The question drew a hearty laugh from the president, as seen here:

The response seems to indicate that not only does Biden feel invincible behind his media-induced shield of protection, but that he has little care about the concerns many have about the precedent being set by targeting not only a former president for a criminal prosecution, but the opposition party’s leading presidential candidate.
A precedent that the rest of the world sees. Leaders such as El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, who tweeted: “Think what you want about former President Trump and the reasons he’s being indicted. But just imagine if this happened in any other country, where a government arrested the main opposition candidate. The United States ability to use ‘democracy’ as foreign policy is gone.”

Biden has avoided any comment about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s politically-motivated indictment against Trump.
“I have no comment on Trump,” the president told Fox News.
Given his own family’s dubious business dealing with China and Ukraine that involve millions of dollars — dealings that involve his brother, son, and daughter-in-law — currently being investigated by Republicans in the House, one might suspect Biden would be a bit uneasy about former presidents now being fair game, courtesy of the Democratic Party. Then again, at the age of 80, it’s likely his attorneys could drag out any such legal proceedings for the duration of his life.
One thing is certain, politics in America is beginning to stink like a rotting carcass… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter, including a social media user noting the “pure evil” nature of Biden’s smile:
That smile looked pure evil.

Remember this day remember this moment because it is a sad day when a man in the Oval Office laughs at the concerns of Americans.

Biden loves divisiveness. He ran on unity and pivoted Day One to purely partisan and divisive. This parody of a human being couldn’t be honest if his life depended on it.
